I started watching the races on peacock late today. I can rewind the show but not back to the start. Is this the same for others? Won’t let me rewind back past where my photo shows IMG 2362 2.jpeg?VersionId=KaOSWp X0gkxk5ZmiubxpKBnShDwf6P

I think it only goes back so far, like 90 minutes, or whatever.

You may be too close to the end of the races.

It's supposed to be 2 hours after the races are over, but I've had to wait longer.

Always been this way. It's either 90 mins or 2 hours, I don't remember.

I would honestly like to dig out the VCR and record it then watch it.  Be a lot better than what they offer. And they only charge $10/month

I can't even pause it at all anymore. I will pirate every god damn race going forward, I'm not paying for this fucking clown show, every part of this broadcast is shit. The fucking clowns running it think we need a top 3 list that covers 1/3 of the screen during breaks. Why not leave the same one they use the whole race. The folks at Peacock and MSNBC can all go royally fuck themselves.

Yeah I think you can only go back 90 minutes or so.

Ive had this problem too, it only happens on my phone or when I cast from my phone to the tv. It forces you to watch it live.. it blooooows. I used my credit card reward points to get an appletv because for whatever reason if you use the peacock app on appletv is works fine and you can pause, rewind, and everything else. Such a trash ass setup that you pay a monthly subscription and then there are different versions of the app with varying levels of quality depending on what platform you stream from.

As far as not being able to rewind all the way once youre too far in, yea thats another thing thats changed too. Another shitty feature. As someone who always waits 30 mins to an hr to start watching so I can fast forward through all the fluff or commercials and just watch the racing now I have to keep this in mind too. Its always a moving target of what way its going to get worse. This is where were at though, all of these companies keep squeezing us from all sides and making services worse over time as prices go up.

I don’t know about you guys but on my LG TV, it’s only ever let me play Peacock events live, it never lets me rewind at any point.

My workaround is streaming through the Peacock app on my phone and casting it to the TV, since the app will let you rewind it. Bit of a pain in the ass that I have to do that, though.

For some reason it depends on how late you join the race in progress. I tuned in about 40 minutes late, but was able to rewind to the beginning.  Wait for them to post the replay to see the whole show.

it’s a live broadcast until it’s complete, they then do whatever they do post production and post it as the “replay” the replay you can rewind and rewatch to your hearts desire… it isn’t any different than it has been for years now.

Never have had an issue - overall, pause, or rewind in the live broadcast if I get in within two hours.  I can't say I've tried to rewind after 2 hours (haven't paid attention to that) so don't know about that.

I'm not tech guy so I can't say why it's fine for one person and not for another.  Maybe the streaming platform?  (I'm usually using the app on Apple TV, sometimes just on a browser.)

I started watching after the 2nd 450 motor today and rewound to the beginning of the show. I always start late so I can FF the fluff.

This is due to Peacock blocking coverage of Jett “jumping the gate”. They don’t want you to see Starling relaying the sign to Lars’ button.

Yup, same thing here. The TV app won't let me rewind, but my phone/laptop still has that ability.

Exactly!! Frustrates the hell out of me that you can't rewind all the way.

Sometimes you can’t rewind back all the way if you start to watch after a certain point in the program. You have to wait till the entire program is over before you can start watching from the beginning. Yesterday, I was able to rewind all the way back to the start of the program but the first 250 moto wasn’t over yet.

Same on Samsung tv, no rewind. Haven't tried on my phone but outside bar tv, I use a Roku and it pauses/rewinds with ease. A lot of times I start the race and pause it for an hour so I can skip the breaks.

I watch the races on my laptop. Have always been able to fast forward/rewind to wherever I want at any time. This week I can't fast forward, there is a timer that takes away the scroll bar. So have to sit there and listen to the broadcast. Nope. I'm all done watching now, don't care how good the racing is or isn't, my time is worth more than watching the entire broadcast start to finish.
