I’d really like to see Tomac beat Jett a few times heads up too.  There’s just something special about watching Tomac when he’s on.

Hope he just forgets about the last round of SX and only focusses on MX. Too much bad luck overall this year already. Why risk it?

I agree with this, but Chase and Webb aren’t doing anything mind blowing so surely Eli is sitting at home thinking “I’d have these guys covered” 

A couple of gate drops would be a nice primer to come out swinging outdoors. I know his previous injuries were much more severe, but that true race pace can't be replicated at the practice track. Eli is a beast, but he should take any opportunity available to gain an edge over Jett and any others coming back from injury.

If his “healed” fibula can take a hit like that, he’s ready for some SX.  Maybe get in there to assist his teammate win the title…just a thought, maybe stupid, but just a thought.

Riding 7 weeks out from a compound fibula fracture with a plate repair is a pretty quick recovery time. I guess the plate stays in? 

Man.. wide open, down hill on a factory 450 is silly nonsense. 

This is just my opinion, but, he needs to avoid that place at all costs, I wouldn't want to race in a stadium where I got hurt two years in a row, one being a major injury.

Even non fans are excited about his return…. Late career Eli is very likable.
