It’s all here for us …The exact place his father did it some  20 something years ago! How crazy and amazing would it be to throw it out for his pops! He has a chance to do it. I know the safety issue and all the rules. Be we can always have fun and dream. LFGOOOOOO Deegan …DO IT FOR THE OLD MAN😂😂😂

It would be dumb as hell.   He is in a very different position than his father ever was in AMA professional racing, I’m not talking crap about his dad, he did some amazing things on a dirt bike and ended up making a great living.
I would be surprised if everyone in his “ corner “ so to speak hasn’t counseled the crap out him to NOT do that, or anything like it…. At least not at this stage of his racing career.

I guarantee you there is stern wording in writing somewhere that outlines exactly what will happen to HD if he pulls that stunt....

Not gonna happen.

Jett ghosted his bike and no one batted an eyelid.

Star racing has it written into his contract if he wins the LA round he must ghost ride his bike off the finish line.

Hoping this happens!

He already ghost rode his bike in the Dnf before he cried.

Wrong event wrong timing imo, I say he does it when or if he wins the SX championship next year.

Sorry, this is sad....and beyond stupid.  Launching  any bike freely over a finish line double out into the great wide open because you are a REAL VICTORIOUS MAN is absolute dogshit.  Yeah kid, your Daddy did it, you mean you need to look that God damn stupid in front the entire world too?  Go ahead and launch that fucker to Mars Lil Dangerboy.....Be sure to check and see if Bobby, or your parents can cover the lawsuits that will soon follow if that Monster clawed Yamaha hits someone.  But I guess that's  ok.  What do we expect?  Act like a boy, call yourself proudly a boy, kick your bosses bike in front of NBC cameras acting like a spoiled  9 year old.....  Money doesn't make the man kiddo....

I don't care who the Hell launches a bike after a win, it's fucking stupid, dangerous, and very childish.  The AMA should suspend any rider who does anything like that, no exceptions.  But, maybe if he attached chromed  spikes to his Thor chest protector, it may possibly be forgiven.....

And since it will be on every highlight reel across all networks and the advertising (commercial) $ will skyrocket. Feld will tell AMA to fine him $5k for unsafe action and then pat Haiden on the back on the way out of the AMA trailer. Then Feld will turn around an offer Haiden $50k for extra commercial work.

I'm gonna go against the the grain here (shocker, I know). I think ghost riding the bike over the finish line is a goon-ass move. It was when Daddy Deegan did it nearly 30 years ago and it would be if Haiden did it today.

F1 drivers don't hop out and put a brick on the gas and let it smash into a wall when they win. Do we want to be monster trucks or do we want the sport to look professional? At the end of the day whatever happens, happens and I'm not gonna be the one outside AMA's office Monday morning with a a picket sign protesting from him to be punished but I think it's a cheap thrill and dumb look. He could pay homage by doing it like Jett did at ironman, not by launching it over the finish line.

Difference is Brian was not a contender for wins in his career and was surprised at the win. He had the "Fuck the establishment" attitude already. Haiden is a contender and to do something dumb just because Dad did is a cop out. If he does it a lot of older people, like me, will not be a fan. And yes I like to see athletes who let their skills do the talking not circus acts.

It was goony-cringe stupid when I watched his goony-ass dad launch his cheater big-bore in his only race win of his goony, (albeit lucrative), career. Goon fans will pay big money to watch goony shit. Circus clowns.

If he does do it, id imagine it would be while very slowly rolling over the finish line

He’s said it in multiple interviews that he plans on doing it “at the right time” and from another interview with his mechanic, it seems the team is expecting it as well and are “OK” with it. We may not be racing in LA coliseum again and doing it in the stadium it was originally done in to not only win the race but the SMX series….seems like the perfect recipe for the ghost ride. Someone call Kenny Watson so he can be there holding a pitboard!!!

I expect if he wins he will do a "mini-ghost ride"; enough to say he did it, not going big like his dad did. Enough for the establishment to say it was no big deal and not punish him too much, enough for his fans to say he ghost rode his bike like his dad. I don't expect him to launch it further than his dad did as a statement. The general clause in the rulebook is vague "No rider may ride in such a manner as to endanger life or limb of other riders, officials or the public" and it is unclear what the penalty would be. I can't imagine any penalty extending into 2024 SX but if it affected his 2023 results in SMX.

What's the big deal?  If my dad won a Supercross race 30 years ago in the same venue, I would do it for him, and for me.  It would be about the same thing as doing a flyby in Top Gun.  Obviously, I wouldn't do it if there was a danger to others around me, but at the finish line, most likely, it'll be safe....And cool to share the incredible experience of winning a Supercross with his dad.

It seems some people have an attitude toward Brian. I don't get it.  To me, him and Marissa are raising their kids right.  I'm a fan of the Deegan family.  I hope it happens.

I thought it was dumb back when his Dad did it, But I do think it would be cool if Haiden wins the SMX title and second moto and does it then.  I'm not normally into damaging the bike like that. But I just feel like it would be a cool thing since it would be a connection with his Dad, and winning the SMX title would be unexpected, maybe not as unexpected as his Dad's win. But still if You asked most people before the SX season started this year if they thought he would be in contention for titles this year, I doubt many would have said they thought he would be. If they answered honestly.

I think that at this point, it could be preplanned to the point that they could clear the area and place tuff blocks in the propper areas . I think it could be done safely , and still have the same look as his Dad's. Maybe its because my Dad is no longer with me, but I have a soft spot for stuff like that.  I'm sure this place will explode if and when it happens.

Its Super Motorcross, its supposed to be a bit reckless and dangerous, so I dont see what the problem is.

He got pulled into a long talk with the AMA but as far as I know he didn't get fined.

If Deegan wins the race, he wins the smx title I believe so there'd be plenty to celebrate doing the ghost ride

Man Matthes is going to explode if he sees his bike flipping and being destroyed

They did ad a rule that prohibited backflips during a race after he did it. And I thought I read that they also told him that he would be banned for life if he tried it again during a race.

And I was just listening to Pulp and Steve talking about the bike catching fire after the MX2 title celebration. I don't think that Steve gets any more pissed about a ghost ride than a bike held wide open until it was on fire.  I've gotta find the video of the MX2 champs bike burning.
