Why does Mathis hate Cole Thompson!?

Exactly.
It’s not just Cole, it’s the whole family that was the issue.

Cole Thompson has been EXTREMELY unlikeable since day 1 both on and off the track. When he was here for 250SX in 2016, him and his girls mouths/typing fingers made him the least popular rider on the gate, hands down. All the while he was getting smoked every weekend by guys with 9-5 jobs.

I don't exactly remember, but I think it had something to do with the transponder cable location. In the end, I believe the call was made by an "official".

I still think it's BS.

Seems like KTM decided not to renew his contract up north?

I think he had an offer to return, but for less than what he wanted and in the end he decided to part ways with them so that he could race SX again.

I think everyone that pays attention to the Canadian series saw it coming. His performance just wasn't there the last couple of years.

He was great in the AX/SX portion, but MX is what's more important for the manufacturers up here.

You have to read the thread Brocster is referring to. When you pull your crime statistics out of a coloring book, you are opening yourself up for scrutiny..

On topic, the punt on Colton was a mega douche move, he deserves a few rounds in his knees for that one.

The transponder location is at the bottom of the face of the jump typically so I guess that makes sense. But still a shitty move.

Was that move by Cole to win an AMA 250 sx title?

Maybe we can get an official notarized list of when it's cool and when it's not?

Thanks for the info. As soon as CMRC went to Jetworx it was a telling sign that Canadian moto was off its rails.

That’s because other than a few boneheaded decisions he seems like a good solid dude and he doesn’t have a family that runs a mafiacross series.

Yea that's kind of my point . Thompson must of done alot more than this . In our sport it's amazing how dirty u can ride if u are well liked and no one says anything . Ps ( I don't mean canard that was his one dirty move ) if Thompson was well like no one would care about this pass .

Better than “Jetworx.” What kind of national promoter goes with that as their company name I’m sorry.

You spelled CMA wrong. Canadian moto has been fucked up for 20 years.

Canard wasn't a dick off the track...much more likeable. I think RC called Andrew Short "The Smiling Assasin" too, but because he was a cool guy off the track, everybody liked Shorty.

What are you guys talking about?? Cole is my favorite racer! He gave me his right glove once. He even took the time to share a slice of his thanksgiving turkey with a spoonful of cranberry at Gopher. Just because he never smiles, has zero personality and rammed pretty boy Fattyoats off the track doesn’t mean he’s not the next Stew. I’ve got him on the podium tonight. Keep on drinking the haterade you yankeedoodle fucks! Go Biden!!!!

He won't even be in the top 10 in the heat race. Off to the LCQ he will go.

This did it for me, not to mention the subtle threat given to Colt courtesy of Cole’s dad at the start of the weekend here where Cole tried to kill him.
