"There's to many Races"

It has been a solid theme for awhile now that there are to many races with not enough breaks. Riders and teams have said it. However, it would seem that from a riders point of view that is BS. It really should be "I am not getting paid enough to do this many races." I think the world supercross thing really highlights this. If I was Honda I would have pulled Kenny's contract offer also. He can't keep his body in shape for any series he is currently committed to and being paid to do and then he signs up for more without Honda's support. The one that really puzzles me is ET3 he has always needed a break when it came to MXDN, now miraculously he signs to do at least a round of world supercross. (I know he agreed to MXDN this year). In my opinion there shouldn't be more races and there should be more breaks. This sport is brutal and these guys put it out there.

On topic. The riders were complaining about two many races....right now only a handful of the big dogs are running WSX. Be interesting to see how WSX fares.

Not a fan that they are going to go head to head with US outdoors eventually. ...but with they way outdoors went this season from a management perspective....they didn't do themselves any favors.

Not a fan that they are going to go head to head with US outdoors eventually. ...but with they way outdoors went this season from a management perspective....they didn't do themselves any favors.

Yeah they guys who have never raced professionally definitely have a good perspective on whether there are too many races

Someone said something like this here once...

"mxgp riders are always quiet, just racing. Most of european fans are always just watching the mxgp, emx and national championships and thats it...
Maybe MURICA is the problem, in general, as always"

I dont know if this is 100% correct BUT theres something in there that sounds correct. Im not european tho

If I am not mistaken, I think ET used the rest thing as an excuse because Kawi didn't want to support going to the race. Had something to do with the bad blood with them and Decoster when Marv moved over for Dungey. With ET not on Kawi anymore, but rather Star , who obviously loves backing Team USA at the MXON is why you saw him jump back in. I know this is taking the thread a little sideways but I think it needs to be said.

In regards to too many races, there is team support for the MX Sport/Feld SMX. I don't remember hearing any riders speak up about not waiting it, because at the end of the day it comes down to $$$. There is supposed to be more breaks in the series as well. They can make more, especially those in contention to win the whole thing. A few more races and making more money people don't seem to have a problem with it.

I think J.Anderson said on Gypst that he'd love to have something like that. I dont remember the exact numbers he said, but I Think he said "12 sx and 10 mx races per year" would be his suggestion.
