That bike shook the 500cc-class world in 1976. It was Suzuki's first big-bore "factory replica," and it replaced the infamous/notorious TM-400. This was a big change for Suzuki. It was based on the works RN75 from the previous year, which I had marveled at in magazine race reports, 'cause it looked nothing like a production bike ...
