$20 isn’t even worth bothering trying to get a refund for, I’ve wasted more money on worse things

I don't know why i'm surprised but I am. I'm surprised so many people are in an uproar about their $20 from NBC Gold, or their SX tickets getting refunded and now. For me, and i'm not saying you should, I will happily donate to both as long as they do everything they can to keep the sport we all love alive and well

I'm really glad you live on such a lavish budget that you wouldn't care whether or not your $60+ SX ticket got refunded for an event that got cancelled, must be outstandible.

I thought that I would contact NBC Sports Gold directly just to see what their plan is. Not sure what they are talking about in the response since their own schedule shows more events canceled.

There’s about 100% chance that there’s a 0% chance we’re getting our money back lol. But don’t worry everyone, i just received an email that we can still enjoy all of the races that already happened... wooo!

Agreed.

Same goes for the people who are too cheap to pony up for the service.

No kidding, I literally pissed away $50 last night down the sewer line in a shithole backwoods bar yet these cheap bastards are bitching about a $20 refund because they can’t finish watching their beloved dirtbike races while laying on a $2000 couch and munching on $40 worth of snacks. First world problems continue to mount....

If $60 is gonna make or break you then you shouldn't be spending the money to go to an event anyways.

My theory....no refunds. At most we might be given temporary access to some other fringe event with low numbers already owned by NBC Sports. But I would not hold my breath.

Maybe they at least provide a discount for next season if you were a subscriber this year. I'd be happy with that. I dont really mind not getting a refund for the remaining rounds but the fact is we did pay for races that we now wont get to watch so I get why people are upset. You paid for a product/service and just because the fine print says no refunds that doesn't mean they cant step up and do something to satisfy their customers. All sorts of companies are offering ways to help people i.e. Xfinity is boosting their wifi signal for free to help people working from home and wont shut off service to people who cant pay their bill for the next couple months.

I am sure it is not the popular opinion, but Personally I think it is ridiculous to ask for a refund. NBC upheld their obligations. It is not their fault or failure that the race is not happening today. What is done is done. IMO No Refund, and there is really no reason to expect one.

Except you can’t....they only go back 3 rounds and that’s it. Also, absolutely ZERO 2019 outdoors. I’m not asking for a refund but the paid for service is a complete joke.

It depends on what device you are viewing. I know on Roku the replays are limited, on a computer they are not. Just run an HDMI from your computer to your TV if you want to watch old races.

Hey, sorry. I know I watched full season replays on the TV app last year but this year it's only 3 races. I was able to sign into the NBC gold website on the Amazon silk browser on TV but it was a complete pain in the ass the way it's formatted and requiring a captcha. All the races were available. I tried on firefox but the video wouldn't play.

If you are cutting it that close, you shouldn't be buying the Gold pass or going to SX events.

You're missing the point. If someone bought a product from my company and I, for whatever reason, was unable to fulfill the order, can I just say "oh well ya know, support the industry and stuff so you don't get a refund". That's called theft, and unfortunately there are a lot of people where $60 can be a big deal at this point in time considering a lot of jobs are up in the air.

As I said, I'm not saying anyone needs to donate anything or not get a refund (I assume most everyone will), I'm just amazed how quickly it went from, "man, I hope they don't cancel races" to "where the fuck is my refund?" I'm lucky enough to not have to buy tickets, but I do purchase the NBC Gold and I'm cool with patiently waiting for whatever their plan is and if I don't get a refund I'm not pulling out the pitchfork. I know 3-4 tickets to a race is a good chunk of dough for a middle Amerca family, but I'm just saying, the immediate "where's my money" the second it was canceled seemed a bit much.

To be honest, this all sucks and there's just too many other issues going on at the moment and everything else just seems trivial. I mean, fuck, today was a Saturday in March and there wasn't a SX race? What kind of world are we living in?

Looks like you chose the "Filter by Sport" option and picked Pro Motocross. You need to select Supercross.

Did you bu only the SX pass? On the NBC sports Gold app on my phone I am seeing all the races from this year, MEC from last fall and all of the 2019 season. I also bought the MX pass this year and last, and it shows all of the outdoor nationals back through the 2017 season.

You are kinda missing the mark on this one. NBCSN isn't refusing to air the races, there aren't any races to air. Distinct difference in how refund wording goes. If there are make-up races, then they will show them. If not, it is what it is and wait for the outdoors.

Now, I do know everyone who bought an actual ticket to a specific race will get their money back.

Exactly, I don't like being ripped off or misled but this situation is out of our control.

in the grand scheme of things it's not a make or break for any of us.
