This!! With or without sports gold app the coverage is a damn joke!! They literally miss every pass every week!!

I get that but that comes down to the production crew. Complaining about missing a lot of the action because of TV commercials when there's a commercial free option available doesn't make much sense.

Just posing a question here. Should these guys be allowed to use IV's on days like this ?

Negative. Everyone underestimates how unforgiving the heat is. It's brutal. Even for guys that are 'acclimated' the human body can only take so much heat regardless of the length of time. Compound that with physical exertion and it's a recipe for disaster. Once the damage is done, there's little you can do. If you need an IV, it's probably too late. These guys really need to educate themselves and take extra precaution.
All enduro/desert racers reading this comment are now dying of laughter.
I disagree. They'd know best. Thumbs down.

Did Eli take a shower before the interview? It doesn't even look like he raced .

I thought the heat would effect Tomac more than it did, just my opinion but it seemed he salvaged the day with his fitness. Oh the better start helped too

Man I like that track and the elements. I think we need more of this kind of racing. Smile

I think we all get that it's the most brutal sport in the world, but Florida hot is another level.

What a great day of racing. Seeing Tomac in 18th Moto 1 I thought Kenny was going to run away with the red plate. But Motocross does what Motocross does, what a turn of events. Fantastic racing from Noren and props to Versace surviving both motos.

Rather than put the best through the worst conditions, maybe acclimate it a little more and let them race at night? One Moto a day ? Quali's on Saturday and Moto's Sunday before peak heat? #thumbsdown

This.

Noren was on another level today. HRC needs him to fill in asap. Has Tomita cracked the top 20 OA ?

This track has more places to pass then I can remember on any track. They can go all over the place. Pretty cool.

Track, yes. Elements... If they could dial back the temp and humidity a bit so evaporative cooling would be effective that'd be ok!

The racers themselves might not like it much, but it was fun for me to watch them deal with the elements.

All that hype over split lanes, then they take it out.

Climate change is real and temps are rising. It’s why we need to lower our footprint on this planet and start taking care of it.

I'm more sympathetic. There's no way for these guys to become acclimated at these extremes. You can't just expose yourself to this and become calloused. You heard them talking about boiling fuel? Think about when you have a fever. Normal temp is 98.6f and 100f is considered a fever and 104f is Hyperpyrexia. Now these numbers vary depending on who you talk to/ where you're getting the reading from ie orally, rectally or your armpit. Your blood and brain and organs start to get real upset real quick.

Sorry to be a sour puss, but ONE section of rollers is enough on a mx track.

Having said that, this was the best track this year so far.

FWIW, my brother in Ft Lauderdale says the heat and humidity here in Charleston is unlike he’s ever experienced. He swears there is a screen door to hell somewhere in this city. We’re 3 hours from Jax so it’s probably the same.

Jacksonville is basically swamp land hence the humidity. The only place worse than Florida in the US is New Orleans.

Have to feel bad for Chase. I guess he expended so much for that first moto win it did him in. A little puzzling as he practices in FL.

Seeing him sitting next to Cooper during the interview he looked to be in way better shape than Justin. Guess looks don't mean anything in motocross.
