I think Carmichael gels alot better with Diffey, Ralph and Carmichael sound like they are constantly fighting over the mic. Probably tired of talking about announcers, but just my two cents.

That didn’t take long. I prefer Leigh, but don’t really mind Ralph. I just hate the way the focus only on the monitor and turn the race into story time instead of covering the race, the whole race.

I'm sure he's fine if he is in the booth by himself, I just don't think he can share the mic very well. I think emig got a lot of hate because he was just trying to get a word in edge wise and ended up blurting out random what not or yelling. It also seems like who ever is in the booth with Ralph talks louder and louder as the night goes on.

Agree with this. Ralph is just a bit cringey and lame. Like seriously we don't need to hear about Anderson's shirt tail hanging out for the millionth time, shit like that gets old.

I can honestly say that this is the first race I even noticed the announcers during the race. Diffey was boring to me.

For real. Diffey and RC had great chemistry. RC sounded good. Ralph just always butts in with his “professional” announcer bs and tries to dominate the show. He sucks.

Carmichael and Diffey definitely have better chemistry. It seem Ralph tries to be the main commentator and makes a shit ton of mistakes. I have NEVER bitched about the announcers EVER but the other dude is definitely a better match for Ricky than Ralph is.

Honestly, they should have Ricky and Emig in there.

For shits and giggles I was watching an old Bar-to-Bar, and saw this. Calls like this one happen every race, and they've been happening for years. I literally don't have an explanation as to why Ralph seemingly spends more time looking at notes and live-timing than actual on-track action.
