Id hate to know what kind of advice and guidance Brian must give Haiden behind closed doors. Brian just sees his children as marketable products. 2025 AMA Racing Rulebook Section 4.4.A.3 allows the AMA seven ways to penalize a rider with loss of Championship points being option E. However, 4.4.A.4(b) states "The minimum suspension for a second offense of a similar nature shall be six months". JT went deep into this part of the convo and literally said that he believes Deegs knew he would get hit with the 5 point penalty so his strategy was to end Jo's race (either via injury or mechanical) so Deegs could win it all even with the penalty. Black flag + suspension is the only solution to this bullshit.

The AMA has pretty much always been a joke .Just look at what they did to Briar Bauman this year in the AFT series .That was blatant what they did to him black flagging him for no reason at all they speculated he was leaking oil when not one rider was complaining about it .If they thought there was oil on the track they could have red flagged it but instead took the title from Briar

Unless I completely misheard what was being discussed in the Steve/JT/Weege recap pod, it sounds like the rules on punishments for offenses have no wiggle room. So it was going to be only 5 championship points regardless of whether Deegz was or was not able to accomplish his plan to take Jo out of contention. This year alone gave us A LOT of gray areas (track cutting, Jett's gate jump, etc.). Regardless, the AMA should have had the balls to black flag Deegz in Vegas. I'd love to hear their reasoning on why it wasn't when it was blatantly obvious...

The whole event was a complete embarrassment to anyone who witnessed it. Mike Pelletier should be ashamed, between the handling of injured riders and the Deegan fiasco I was expecting a public statement by now…

I think it is celebrated that finally someone returned the favor to deegan. He should be cool with it. Didn't Ricky say they need to push back?! What comes around goes around.
