Grass start is confirmed! This track is WFO from start to finish. I'm absolutely loving the uniqueness of each of the SMX tracks! This is definitely the "motocross" track of the bunch. Not a lot of jumps, mostly rough track and long lap times means fitness is going to come into play big time. Might just be the best track for Jett to bounce back on from last weekend to bring this 3 round sprint series to the final race next weekend for a winner takes all event!

I'm a diehard Bears, Cubs, Blackhawks sports fan so I listen to ESPN 1000 Chicago radio every day while working and they've been playing commercials advertising the race for weeks. Matter of fact as I'm typing this now the radio hosts started talking about it and how cool it looks, the whole station is taking their kids to the race. Pretty cool to hear about it on such a big radio station.

This is so true with me. I have days everything is just firing and I'm on it! I'm nothing special but I'm ok. I'll run at the front of 30+ B and 40+B. But I've had days where I get in a zone and I'm on the gas everywhere. Notably through corners. I'll drop in behind A riders and it takes them laps to drop me. I'll think I've finally found something with my riding and got some new level of speed. The next time I ride it's gone and I'm just normal me again lol.

Webb was kicking ass in SX this year. Even with the KTM bike "issues". I can't see Webb going to Yamaha without knowing the issues he was having when he was riding 450 Yamaha (pre-Star) have been fixed. Webb has always been the underrated guy in this sport....and he's proved everybody wrong. Heart of a lion....that's why I'm a fan. My non-insider opinion....

He was really good in SX this year, that's true. But so far the biggest factor we have seen with Webb since he moved to the 450 class was either being with or without Aldon. He was a fucking beast from 2019-2021. Then without Aldon in 2022 he didn't even come close to winning a main. Then back with Aldon in 2023 being an instant title contender. It's just something with that structure/training that clicked for him and I'm really interested to see how his second try without Aldon works out now. I really thought more people would talk about...

But the race is at Ernee. And that's a hardpack track. I wouldn't take Webster. 3rd rider has to be Evans, beaton or Ferris.

Webster is fast in sand but Ernee is hard pack haha
