Here in Canada you can't remain anonymous, they take your picture with the cheque and include your name. I wouldn't claim it right away, you have up to a year to claim. I'm really excited for the next year of my career, so I'd keep working and start getting my life situated for all the BS money like that will...

My mom is an ER nurse. Dinner conversations were interesting. People put all sorts of things in places where they shouldn't. I became a medic and unfortunately saw some of the same for myself. People are strange I tell ya.

It's a completely relevant topic here on this forum. I haven't seen anything controversial or illegal being mentioned by people that know a thing or two about it. In this thread I've seen people give out solid advice (like questioning a prescribed high dosage), what may or may not work for themselves or others, and the potential side effects. One...

Lots of holier-than-thou comments in here. Any of you bother reading the thread or just spout of when you saw the thread title? Nobody advocated using it recreationally. And to the big tough guys, yes some people need medication on a daily basis and take it responsibility. Not everyone is such a bad ass like you are and just sucks it up and plows through life

What is pathetic is that you don't understand then, about adhd. I can do what you stated and I have done big days like that. To be ignorant of something is forgiven, to be stupid and make blanket statements about people shows your stupidity off. I can get by without it. I did for 25 years. I still skip a week sometimes intentionally to lose tolerance. I am in charge. But it is magical when I need it and I get shit done. Maybe you should try being in charge of your mouth and brain, it would look better for...

I can tell you from first hand experience that I don’t use my full prescription of adderall. I generally don’t take it on weekends where my attention doesn’t need to be as focused, so I end up only refilling roughly 2 out of every 3 months prescriptions. If you are indeed taking it for ADD/ADHD it doesn’t give you the same ‘rush’ as it may to an abuser. Now if the doctor tells me that I can have 3 tubs of ice cream, I might very well try to figure out how to get a 4th……

Just because you have an inability to control yourself doesn't mean everyone does.

I'm 52 and didn't even try it until my early 40's. If you need it, it works. I don't get a buzz. It doesn't affect my appetite. When I need it, 10mg will do what I need, so I usually split a 20mg and take it twice a day depending on my schedule. I don't use it every day, tolerance builds fast. It allows me to focus and finish what I start. Sometimes I start too many things and don't finish half of them. I can start unloading the dishwasher, leave the cabinet doors open, see something else needing done...

People with adhd have many racing thoughts all the time. The medicine allows you to basically turn your thoughts from turbulent flow to laminar flow if that makes sense. You have more capacity to do several things at once.

I would not recommend trying Adderall without a doctor's orders, coming from an Adderall user for ADHD. It does have some serious potential side effects and if you are just getting it from a friend (or other source) and using it, it could wreak havoc on some unknown, preexisting conditions. And if your doctor gives you a prescription for 60mg like McG's does, then find a new doctor. That's a big pathway to some serious heart issues. It may not be too bad in the short term, but if a doc writes scripts ongoing for that high of dosage then...

Thats a great point of view, but its totally wrong. Every form of racing where there are 'no rules' is the worst type.. less participants, and less chance of those participants providing a good race Unless you can sell what you race, where is the return.

It's so freaking simple. How about we eliminate the ridiculouly outdated "Double Displacement Rule", and get back to racing 125cc and 250cc motocross bikes. It's so fucking simple. It's been a 25 year shitshow !!!! MX Sports ain't doing it until DC retires, crades the balls of the manufacturer's, follow the money,.

Wrong I was And manufacturers did very little to their production bikes to make sure their "works" bikes had a HUGE advantage. IF YOU were around during this time you would know this very well. Your comment is like telling a Native American to trust the Government. We have the best bikes available at the dealership BECAUSE of the production rule.

Factory (Works) bikes are too costly for the OEM’s to R&D and produce one-off parts. The Factory (Works) bikes are unfair to the rest of the riders and would actually hurt the sport at this time. The stock bikes are so good nowadays, that it’s unnecessary to build bikes that would ruin the budgets. The money they were spending on these one-off bikes is now being paid to the riders on the Factory teams. They can’t afford to do both.

I'm of the opposite belief.... Make em run them with stock engines/transmission, suspension, exhuast (other than springs). This would level the playing field...AND slow the racing down where people aren't ending up in the hospital. Flame on.....

Uh, what? I am a believer that the Second Amendment guarantees personal ownership of weapons, that's my stance on the "gun issue". And the Second Amendment doesn't say anything about restricting someone for any reason, it explicitly says that the right shall not be infringed. But time and time again we see the headlines that seem to justify people being stopped, detained, or even shot because they armed when all the while the Second Amendment should make that unconstitutional. My posting this was more a display of what can also happen when good guys use their guns.

I'm pretty sure their state constitutional carry overrides their silly mall rules. Just about every mall has some sorta rule like "Firearms Only Allowed By Peace Keepers". I think they only thing they can do is ask you to leave the property if they know you have a weapon. But if your weapon is concealed they'll never know unless you have to pull it. ‘good guy’ present Every person in that area other than the attacker was a "good" person present, weapon or not IMO. Hypothetically : I don't care if the attacker was stopped by a 12 year old girl...

I live in the province next door to swordfish (I'm currently in New Brunswick). The forestry operations here are sickening... Literally. There is ONE large company that essentially owns this province. It owns the provincial media (like actually owns it), our Premier (our version of a state Governor) used to be an executive for that company. They can essentially do...
