Yamaha has been developing and testing their electric trials bike for years now at a pro level. For sure they are not spending millions and flying ten engineers for a TrialGP in Europe to make a bitchin new trials bike, but actually most definitely using trials as a platform to test and develop. Lower publicity, but lot of the same type of applications in a new technology like this. Kenichi Kuroyama has been the rider to compete with this bike for a while now. I have a couple of the original. They are cool except the range on the old one was like 25 feet max before it lost connection with the controller. Awesome that Losi who imo is the best rc maker makes them. The difference between driving a Traxxas around a field compared to a losi is night and day. An 1/8th scale stock losi could rail my old little track round and round with zero issues where a pro modded Traxxas could barely do a lap without flipping or bouncing out of control if it got choppy. Since there is always so much talk about how rough tracks are, were or should be, I though I would share this pic some one gave me in a special book from Sears Point Trans-Am. I think the year is '77.
(Look at the natural terrain and the 2-smoke exhaust from throttle "blips" as Lackey, Hannah, (I think Stackable or Magoo) navigate the "wine country".
Just cool to me.

Let's give the guy a break. You're allowed a few freebies here. I have chronic deficits from my own SCI. Burst fracture L2. Fortunately those are 'minor'. I have full motor control. Can walk. Run. Ride. Really anything I want. Sensation-only. I'm beyond super lucky. I can't possibly imagine what Scottie, Jessy, Moreau, Schellenberger, Daubitz, Mitch and so many others live with every day. My good friend Chris Rayburn at Moto Clown Designs (3) Moto Clown Designs | Facebook) created this Old School Hannah Replica helmet in a new Alpinestars lid to "kinda" replicate and open face helmet with a snap on JT Racing Mouth guard. Perfect combo for some "vintage look" safe head perfection to rip on my 1982 yz100.

Job done! Went for a 2023 Pro Circuit/Factory look and I’m chuffed with how it turned out! It’s basically the 2023 PC Style but with the KRT logos like the GP team have instead of the Monster claws.
