David.....was one of ( if not the best ) to ever join this forum as a guest a while back. He had so many people asking him question's and he stuck around I think for a couple day's and answered them all. And just like he was amazing on the mic , he was just as detailed in his responses here. Maybe my most favorite racer ever. Freakin' legend!

David's father passed away a few years back His name was Terry Martin, and he is a pretty legendary shaper. He shaped Hobie surfboards for over 50 years, and was a true icon in the sport. Like Ridge said, DB's doing well. Has a project that I think is very cool if it gets the right backing. 3 grandkids. THREE!

He's doing pretty good, staying in shape, and hopefully working on something that has him involved in Supercross/Motocross again.

If you're on Instagram, you gotta follow Bailey, RJ and Ward if you are into that era. Bailey's Instagram feed is golden. And his biological Dad is a surfboard designer so that makes sense.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing all the info. Last year I really stepped up my cycling, mostly riding mountain bikes but some rode bikes on occasion, and now that I'm riding more I've had to really increase my caloric intake. Since I'm eating more to sustain myself, I've put more thought into what dietary lifestyle I should be following. The biggest challenge for me is finding foods that are agreed upon as being healthy (seems like people differ more and more on what meets that definition these days). I think once I can identify a decent assortment of appropriate foods it...

I had an '82 RM250, can't say the looks were the best. The radiator shrouds were odd. I liked the unique look of my '81 RM125 though. Or, maybe I was just awestruck because of how it performed!

The title says it all, haha. This video is one of those things that you make with intent to put it out to the masses, but business deals between some of the parties tie it up and it hides on a hard drive. During the filming of "Premix 2" a few years ago with Malcolm Stewart at Zaca Station, the Alta guys rolled out one of their race-built Redshift bikes for Malcolm to turn some laps on for another video. At the time, there were talks that would have put Malcolm on the bike for the international Supercross races in...

Invasives do an unbelievable amount of damage to the ecosystem. I swam all over the Everglades as a kid. Our families friends owned a huge farm at old mm 42 when I was young and we would stay out there months at a time. There was a barn with 3 guns on tripods and boxes of ammo, targets and a big swim hole full of snakes and gators that were chased out daily. That was the kids day care. Rope swings and diving boards all over and gators everywhere but if you grew up with them than you know how they...

We got an Insta Pot pressure cooker a couple of weeks ago. It will cook all kinds of things pretty fast. We did an entire chicken that took about 30 minutes, it fell apart when we took it out.

One of these years we will send all our factory bikes out to diamond dons might be a little closer so you can see them in person. Most people don't believe we race these things often. We finished that on on Friday set the sag on Saturday got the holes hot and finished second at Burnworths SoCal vintage event with no testing. The DR rode our other bike to a 1-1 in the proclass too.

We fixed the brakes by lightening everything and adding liquid. Yeah the motors are sick but very fragile. You have to push start all the takagawa kitaco motors or you will break the end of the layshaft off. We removed the kick mechanism completely along with first gear and anything related to that. Saved 3lbs on that mod.
