Going to hit Bills Seafood for some lobster and scallops, RI clam chowder and reebs. Summer crowd is long gone, ocean is cold and the bounty of the sea is at its best. Followed of course by SX.Smile

Worked with young son on his house project while his gf and my wife baked up a slab of salmon with steamed potatoes and veggies. Some beer, margarita and some bourbon and now some SX.

My mate slow cooked some lamb and had some sweet taters and other goodness on his plate.

Tripped going up his steps and slammed his face into a door frame. The lamb was salvaged but unfortunately the rest couldn't be saved. Possible broken nose but, the lamb was delicious.

We got an Insta Pot pressure cooker a couple of weeks ago. It will cook all kinds of things pretty fast.
We did an entire chicken that took about 30 minutes, it fell apart when we took it out.

My version of pot roast today since it's warmed up to 19F........-4 wind chill. Everything is ice covered. I season and tight wrap the Chuck roast in foil. 4 hours at 250 degrees in the oven. Crock pot with beef stock, shrooms, onions, carrots, New taters, celery, garlic. I don't cook the meat in the crock anymore...seemed like all the flavor cooked out and it was just tasteless. I'll make some buttery garlic Texas toast for stopping. Tried something new for dessert. Cinnamon rolls from the can, put them in a muffin tin. Smashed them into a pie crust shape...put some Apple pie filling in there and baked. Pretty Damn good.

A Huge Rib Eye, cooked to a nice medium rare.

I tried to embed a pic, but it doesn't show up when I try & preview it!

I'll try tomorrow, if I time after getting a few of my friends bikes out of my garage.

It’s cold, wet and muddy and my ass is dragging from the work week. Trying to help young son on his house project today was a challenge. Time for some chicken and sausage gumbo.

Going to do an acorn squash (butter and pepper of course) and a tuna sandwich (solid white albacore) on sourdough with tomato and avocado. Sometimes I toast the bread and melt some Swiss cheese on it before adding the rest. Not today though. Gotta keep it simple. Played golf and partied with the boys. I would burn something. Hoping I get the squash right.

Soup looks really good newmann. I made some albondigas a couple of weeks ago and sort of fucked it up. I forgot the diced tomatoes and didn't realize it until the next day when I found the the two cans in the pantry. I knew something wasn't right but it was still pretty good.

Man that beef looks awesome. Is the secret to crock cooking to use minimum liquid? That shine looks mighty good but I'm afraid it'd be a one way ticket to Stupidsville and Divorce City.

Houston Car Show today and Pappasitos on the way home. I let them cook for me! Chipotle shrimp appetizer and medium rare beef fajitas with crab cake stuffed shrimp added on. Amazing stuff that I fail to replicate. I keep trying though!
