TTperra Added a reply to Should I ride it or not?
2/6/2017 2:57pm I think I understand your doubts. If someone (collector?) would pay enough or trade a restored race ready bike, I would do that to save it. otherwise I would ride it and keep it in good shape
TTperra Added a reply to Original Magura Levers...??
1/31/2017 12:41pm Think Huskvarna used that model until mid 70's, then they had the bent model similar to Honda. Cant find price, but the later(bent) model goes for £20 used here in Sweden

1/31/2017 10:57am Stolen? If someone stold a bike like that it would be a little hard to sell it for big money, but it would be easy to sell it for fast money to a newbie who dont not know how special it is and thinking he buy a stock CR500.. and then he need some parts and wonder why his bike...

1/14/2017 2:56am Cool bikes, i think CR -86 is one of the best looking MX bikes ever. I had a WR400 -84, really good woods bike when you got used to the exhaustpipe... Did mostly playriding on it, had a Husaberg 550 for racing, but i raced it on one winter competition, it was really fun to hear the spectators cheer on...
TTperra Added a reply to Two hillclimb builds on a budget (450 test video added)
1/9/2017 1:50am CR500 can make some serious HP if built right. Dont know so much about hillclimb, but my guess its all about mid - high power. If it was my bike and on a budget i would look up that cpi pipe so it is made for the power range i want, then port the cylinder to match the pipe, maby...

12/22/2016 12:24pm KONI is a German brand of shocks, big in auto market What length are they? (eye to eye) I have Ohlins with remote reservoir that might fit, just have to dig them out and see if they can be brought back to life..

12/18/2016 11:20am Glad you have recover, and can ride again! That metalplate and screws, are those titanium? The plate could be modyfied to a cool headstay or something, or laying in the toolbox marked as spareparts..
TTperra Added a reply to AHRMA RULES PROPOSALS 2017 -KX Ultima
12/16/2016 3:03am I don't want to step on any toes, but I dont understand this(maby because I don't live in US?) Is AHMRA sanctioned by AMA or government/law? as I understand there is local and regional clubs that have simpler(better) rules and classes, and sometimes more participants. why don't you get together and agree about same rules/classes without AHMRA? why not use...

11/28/2016 4:01pm If the 125 sleeve don't fit the 100 cyl, you can sleeve-down the 175 to 125. I would go for the 175cc, its only cheating if you win..

11/22/2016 12:14pm Congrats, that sounds like a bargin! My advice is, look inside airbox so no one live there and put a fresh filter there, drain the tank and put fresh premix in, change oil in gearbox, se if you can get it running and see if all gears work. If it works, fix what is broken, ride and have fun! If...
