ID Paioli shock

A friend is emptying a storage and left some boxes of parts at my garage, its a mix of mx and Street parts.
There is a strange shock, reservoir say Paioli and its a long one 625mm c-c, i think its too long to come from a streetbike.
Yamaha monoshock?

That has to be from some kind of monoshock or maybe an offroad buggy. Thats nearly 24" long

Very close in length to a 79 YZ shock.
