Tomorrow after I clean everything up I'm going to probably attack the engine a little and make it nice and fresh looking. Also sit down and make a nice list of EVERY part that I want to replace. The steering stem bearings were all good surprisingly. I don't have experience to know what to feel for, but they definitely were greased and in good shape. Must've been replaced within the last year before I got it. Swingarm bearings seem to be in good shape too. Good, less money I have to spend.
One issue I ran into, that most of you will shake your head at, was the throttle cable. Instead of removing everything from the handlebars, I kept it all on and had to remove the end of the cable out of the carb. I pulled the spring up all the way, held it up with my fingers and used my free fingers to push the cable in and wiggle and I tried this for 30min. Patience grew thin. I shouldn't of tried with pliers last weekend, which had already messed the cable up a little which little pieces of the metal cable kept stabbing my fingers, so that led to me cutting it
Anyways, check out the pics. Hopefully I'll have this done a month from now. One thing I'm uncomfortable about is when I get my 250pc bolt kit, I hope I remember what goes where. I'm confident I do but I have a little doubt. I did take lots of pictures so if i did forget how something goes or what kind of bolt goes where, I should have a picture of it. Cheers

Also when I get home from work tonight my rear shock should be waiting on me in a package. Factory Connection completely rebuilt it for a nice $515
I also just spent more on parts than I wanted too. But oh well, at the end of it I'll have practically a brand new 97 yz125 to ride for years to come until I'm only working 1 job and can afford a new bike
Only 2 things left to buy is IMS footpegs (out of stock on Motorsport so I'm buying through IMS website) and a GPI radiator and hoses off eBay. If only I could afford new black wheels and hubs. One day this summer maybe.
So 2 weeks from now and I get to frantically put everything back together lol. If the weather is cold still then I'll take my time. Over the 2 weeks of waiting I will be cleaning up everything that I can restore with scotchbrite and WD 40. Like my shock linkage and a couple other things. Oh and replace my kickstart assembly, that should be easy as I've replaced my shifter shaft before. Can't wait to post a pic of the frame when I pick it up!
Pit Row
Now just waiting on footpegs, radiator, and my rear shock. Probably gonna order new footpeg hardware, along with an FMF pipe hardware kit. That also annoyed me because I figured the pipe would come with the mounting springs but nope
I had a few of this generation 125's and my dep pipes had the same dent
I have fmf and PC pipes, maby a Rinaldi (messico) pipe also (not sure on year model), and a ohlins shock..
But i am located in Sweden so there is shipping also..
She also tells me the swingarm and subframe are gloss black. I wanted it satin black but whatever I'll take it gloss black
I'm sitting here thinking so instead of calling the owner of the piece that you are about to powdercoat and asking simply what color I wanted it done in because you can't rememember, you just decided to do it anyways weather it was the right color or not. Jesus
