I like em both, but IMO, Matthes is king of moto media, fair and balanced, "reasonable and nice"...and, in fact, 80,000,000 people think he's on the correct side of political history. I'm just sayin......

Matthes usually reasonably and nicely states his opinion. GL thinks this is bad but takes a cheap shot at a fellow rider who was just paralyzed? Gross.

Sure, there are countries. Here in Germany e.g. you can get hurt doing whatever and your health insurance will pay. Call me dumb or a commie, but some form of basic national health insurance is a human right. To be honest, racing without any insurance is dumb and irresponsible towards your loved ones. So I agree with GL, but his timing was bad, no question. And hats off to Steve for raising the money. I wish Tapia all the best for his recovery!

Im a fan of Pulp,dont always agree with Steves rants,but he does do fantastic podcasts. Pulp is my go to podcast Ping is equally as talented as Steve at interviewing and getting the best out of his guests Im a fan of GL as a racer,but I just cant listen to him anymore on podcasts,he interrupts the guests all the time,answering the questions himself and leaving the guest high and dry unable to answer I tune in to hear the guests answers not GL and his experiences Doug Henry was going to be a brilliant guest,but GL ruined it,jumping in...

GL can beat his drum all he wants but PulpMX is king of quality audio, quality variety and quality content. I couldn’t get through all of Whiskey Throttle’s three part Reed series due to the horrible audio quality and GL interrupting all the time to bring himself into any story Reed was trying to get out. I’ve not really listened to another of their shows since. The Tapia comment. Poor taste and bad timing

Politics only comes between people when either side assumes they're right and you're an idiot.. I don't listen to Pulp or Whiskey but Ping has done exactly that more than once in here.. So I'm Team Matthes haha

Yup. I completely retract my first comment. I have no issue admitting I was wrong. Health insurance in general is a very political matter. This is the only first world country where it’s not seen as a right.

Problem is, he had insurance. Look at Tapia’s twitter where he explains. But to me, in a world where he didn’t have insurance, there is a time and place. You don’t say that to someone who is re-learning how to walk as we speak.

Don’t know if anyone else has seen the twitter fight between Langston and Matthes, apparently It stems from some unkind words on the Whiskey Throttle show. Kind of funny GL is upset about Matthes talking politics on PulpMX then goes on to say Whiskey Throttle outperformed Pulp on YouTube like Spotify and Apple Podcasts don’t exist, kind of life a certain politician pretending mail in votes don’t exist. Tbh I’m disappointed in the pettiness from GL, you know it’s going badly when a former Pro MXer is chirping people on Twitter over their follower count or pfp. Just childish as...

Can’t embed it, but Vurb had a video of instagram and Deegan was pissed after the moto shouting something at Cochran. I like Deegan and what they do and I’ve defended him on here before, but it’s ironic how he has no problem riding aggressive himself and sometimes going a bit overboard with it like earlier this week, and then go off the rails when he’s on the other end of it. The same thing happened at Loretta’s too with Best.

If you watch the Deegans regularly it becomes apparent that winning is the only thing that registers. Perhaps I'm projecting, but it also feels at times that Deegan has let his success to this point inform his attitude. The constant looking over his shoulder and parking in corners says to me that he's less concerned with going fast than he is "putting other kids in their place." So if a kid he was regularly beating switches bikes and suddenly wins two races against him, I'd say that there is certainly something to be learned. And I'm sure if you asked...

Well it's a good thing these $10,000 bikes dont NEED that battery to start and run.....oh wait. People can talk all the garbage they want on others that still have a kick start and a carburetor but you wont see them having to call it a day due to a dead battery. I'm not trying to be that "old school" dude but one of the coolest things about being a dirtbike rider is/was how simple they were and they would always run aside from being prevented by a glaring mechanical problem. Companies not fulfilling their sponsorship obligations using the excuse of an altered racing schedule while having an epic year in sales/revenue. Classic moto industry, you can’t make this stuff up. The douchebags need to get outed. It’s fairly well known that Fox decided to not pay, who else?
