Park a really nice 2nd. Thought I remember reading/hearing that he will be one of ML512s amateur guys!
For only having a few days on the Honda after practically a lifetime on Yamaha’s, I’m really stoked on how he’s doing. He’s not as stoked though, he wants to win...bad. I hope for the last SX race in the morning he can pull a start with Kitchen and put on a good show. I was blown away by the turnout in 250 Pro.

Damn Cochran made an incredible pass on Deegan in the last corner.

Also, I can't stand these announcers, but I'm glad there's some racing coverage.

I have to wonder if this is a wake-up call for Deegan, Cochran always got great starts on the Suzuki then once Deegan passed him, he tended to fall back a bit. Now on that Gas-Gas it seems to have leveled the playing field a bit.

Wake up call for what? I think a kid should be perfectly fine getting second place and batteling for the win the whole moto. Just like it's perfectly fine for Ken Roczen to get 2nd place.

If you watch the Deegans regularly it becomes apparent that winning is the only thing that registers. Perhaps I'm projecting, but it also feels at times that Deegan has let his success to this point inform his attitude. The constant looking over his shoulder and parking in corners says to me that he's less concerned with going fast than he is "putting other kids in their place." So if a kid he was regularly beating switches bikes and suddenly wins two races against him, I'd say that there is certainly something to be learned.

And I'm sure if you asked Roczen, he's not that ok with second place.

Do you think Deegans in for a reality check in a couple years?

I think that racing will only get harder for him. He's talented, works hard, and is extremely fast. I think he's probably still the favorite to win the MX motos coming up in supermini, but I'm excited to watch that play out.

But for similar parallels, look at Daxton Bennick, he's definitely fast and seemed to beat Deegan when they raced each other, but now he's moved into 250s and finished what, top 5-6 in 250B at the MINI-Os?

Either way, the racing has been super fun to watch and I'm just guessing.

Well, Deegan got handled in the 125 class, but he's new to the bike so that's to be expected. Not sure what the age difference is between him and Ferry, but lil' Red Dog looks great out there.

You guys have to remember at 13-14 years old 6 months in age difference is huge. In 6 months these kids can be much taller and stronger.

Something to consider is Deagan is also racing 125 now. I guess switching bike back and forth is reducing his speed by 0.1% on both. I have zero problem with attitude, closing doors while watching where the other rider is is a way not to crash both. We will see in a few years, especially in SX ; he will turn pro but for sure there is a lot of competition, something like JS7 in 125 will never be seen again. I think his competition also benefits from his exposure which will bring a great generation.

So much other Great racing Happening out there and everyone’s stuck on deegan.

As far as announcers, theyre best in the business. True seasoned amatuer veteran announcers. They know everybody because they’ve watched them all.

Gavin towers making a little mistake and going over the berm to Barely get edged out...

I agree entirely. I think by and large, Deegan is good for the sport.

You do realize Daxton is only 14 right? Battling against kids and adults with much more then 8 months on the 250.

Yes, I do, and I assume that he'll get stronger and faster, but the question I was asked was "Do you think Deegan's in for a reality check in a couple years" and I said that I could see Deegan having a similar trajectory as he moves to faster bikes, which I don't think is unreasonable.

Do you think Daxton wants to finish where is right now? Do you think that was his goal moving to that class? Or do you think it maybe made him realize that the work he's put in is only the beginning?

Half the time they seemed to be calling another race than what was on camera. I was not sure what happened when Deegan passed him/lappers? but it did look like that was what I saw. They seemed to trade mistakes.

Can’t embed it, but Vurb had a video of instagram and Deegan was pissed after the moto shouting something at Cochran. I like Deegan and what they do and I’ve defended him on here before, but it’s ironic how he has no problem riding aggressive himself and sometimes going a bit overboard with it like earlier this week, and then go off the rails when he’s on the other end of it. The same thing happened at Loretta’s too with Best.

Personally I think that KTM makes a mistake by throwing Vohland into the shark thank already. But if they give them enough time, then maybe it can work.

He's signed through 2023, so plenty of time to find out, but damn if it doesn't work out that's a big contract.
