I would guess it is partly bike issues but the bigger issue is just not wanting to get hurt again, which would be made worse if the bike isn't giving him confidence. It's imperative for him to make it through the full season healthy and gain some experience. If that means going 3-4 sec a lap slower then, for now, so be it. The worst thing he can do right now is to get impatient, push too hard, and get hurt again. We're only 3 races into this guys. Relax.

Bro you’re 42. You aren’t some ancient man. There’s plenty of guys your age out at the tracks. You don’t have to race. I run a couple races a year, but for the most part get my enjoyment riding tracks with my friends every weekend, putting in hard laps, throwing some style/whips, and having fun. That’s what it’s about. Get your ass on a bike before you’re too old saying woulda coulda shoulda. You’re gonna make some great memories with your kids.

Was at the gas station today with bike in the back, going to ride. Very small town. My wife says hi to a couple she knows that's older. Farming family down the street. Small talk happens, the guy asks me if I'm going to an obstacle course. I say yes, just don't want to get into a conversation about what motocross is. Just heard the RacerX review pod where they spoke on it, and I’m going to disagree with those guys on this one. The press should be allowed to ask questions about contracts, it’s up to the riders to address them appropriately, in my opinion.

I agree…… it’s hilarious that people say his bike is slow. It’s a 450 with a factory build on it. A stock 450 isn’t even slow…😂 The kid is a World Champion, if the bike is not to his liking, then he needs to get it together, put the work in testing and get it to his liking. No excuses! That said…. he’s coming off injury , the tracks are new and he made the move stateside. I think he’ll get it all figured out before seasons end.

How could SX not affect your MX results? He got hurt in the preseason trying to build up speed, then he got hurt during the season. Fir a guy that has been a winner his whole life to suddenly not even be able to stay on the track (especially when you just put your whole career on the line), that will definitely shake your confidence.
