Forato was incredible. Qualifying and the motos, just catching Roczen like it's no problem, and after missing pretty much the entire year. I was not expecting that.

If I had to pick one it's Karlis Reisulis. Second best MX2 rider after already racing the B-final Sunday morning. Dude raced for like two hours on Sunday. Sounds crazy now, but him, his faster brother and Pauls Jonass could podium or even win one of these events in a couple years

Do have to agree for gajser, hes a 5 time champ but he won all those titles when jeffrey crashed out so ppl dont count him up there with the greats. I think this ride showed ppl that hes no joke and a 5 time champ for a reason.

Mikkel Haarup, last to 10th in race two. Karlis Reisulis won the B-Final for Latvia then placed second overall in MX2. Plessinger was way better than i expected, especially after how it went for him last year. Tomac also impressed me a lot. As mentioned above, he's not raced motocross much recently.

Wrong, wrong and wrong again Tomac was brilliant but certainly not the rider or the weekend that goes to Tim 243 Beat Jet straight up De wolf and Lucas and laeganfielder where next up Tomac carried his form as being USA top 450 guy and proved once again he’s one off the best in the world but he got the perfect start and had no roost to deal with but faded to third.

Some riders who don't get a place in the spotlight but I believe do earn it: Kārlis Reišulis, Enzo Lopes, Conrad Mewse, Mikkel Haarup, Julius Mikula.

You missed Simon Laengenfelder who was 3rd basically 95% of the race 2 on 250, just behind Fernandez and Lawrence.

Prado was by & far was the most unimpressive rider of the weekend. Coming of a dominant season & back to back GP titles & he did nothing come the main races. Herlings, I didn’t expect him to win. He’s been playing second fiddle to Prado & Gajser all year, I didn’t expect him to be any different at the weekend. The whole USA team impressed me, Tomac with his clutch rides & with decent rides from AP & CW. They came close to winning.

You could tell Jett was pissed off after that race, he put a brave face on and smilled for the camera and celebration, but he was seething.

Absolutely, absolute animal and I think on form Tim is the fastest guy anywhere on a bike. Him and Jet have a similar style of you, both smooth and don’t look like they are going fast. Jets issue is that he’s not used to anyone fighting back, that’s the first he’s really has anyone do that l and he started to make a lot of mistakes and Tim made him pay, simple as that. One of the best races I’ve ever watched.

I guess he just meant Tim winning the two big motos. I don't think he counted how many guys from which series were on the line. There's never going to be a fair comparison. You could also say it's not fair that the Netherlands with a population twice as high as NYC has to race countries with a much bigger talent pool to pick from. But it's not the united nations of europe. I also wouldnt say Kay really proved to be the fastest. Coenen was clearly faster, just couldnt keep it on two wheels. Well neither could Kay but...

I just want to thank the Materley Basin "crew". The track was superb, real motocross. I loved the broadcast and the combination of Malin and JT worked great. Lisa was not out of place either. I'm not sure how much credit should go to the fim and Infront, but well done.

A fabulous event, it is a privilege to see so many high calibre riders and racing of such quality. Always the best MX race of the year.

and to the yanks that say " this race is imarterial" if that didn't pump youre nads, then go and take a blue one ..that was the best race all year down , youre boys had a part to play and that they did 👍 jet, respect for putting it on the line , he could of played it safe , put his nuts on the line and gave us fans edge of the seat racing 👍 TG, that was awesome
