Yeah, and he took revenge on Jett too, by just doing the same thing as Jett did on Gajser at last years event at Erneè.

Not just this post but throughout the thread you seem so caught up in AMA vs. FIM that you forgot to just enjoy the racing. What a waste, you missed a wildly entertaining event.

Gasjer is a bad ass.  But we also can't overlook the fact that every year at this race his team has zero chance at winning or podiums so he gets to race it completely for an individual result.  It's a different racing strategy then some, especially during the last moto of the day.

He is absolutely fast enough to win either way, but Jett had zero reason to even race him that last moto.

Shit show from Tom Vialle

4 falls in the 1st race, no goggle after 17min in the 2 race and go straight to the pit for new google instead of trying to keep his nice 7th place.

The kid cant handle pressure or adversity.

Jett gave everything he had. He was almost on the ground 3 times the last 2 laps. It's not like he was cruising around playing it safe

Really impressed by team USA, especially Tomac. After qualifying I thought there was little chance of a podium and they'd be battling for a top 5, that was impressive by them today.

Also as an Aussie I was surprised by how excited I got with the win, usually I just like to appreciate the event for what it is and not cheer on any teams too hard but that was so close and there was great riding done by all 3 members of the team. Having gone this long without having won it I wasn't sure if Australia was gonna get to win it, which just makes it all the more exciting.

Amazing day of racing all round.

Maybe a fracture, maybe a bruised rib, those are so painful as well.

But it’s not possible to ride or race if it is actually broken clean through,

Excited for Eli outdoors next year. He's missed quite a bit of racing the last 2 seasons and if he avoids injury this SX season he'll only be better next summer! He's also making that newer Yamaha chassis look pretty good outdoors!

Jett had mentioned countless times he hates to lose more than he loves to win. I bet he’s fucking pissed and the fact he has to wait 12 months to (possibly) redeem himself makes it even harder. Hats off to Australia no doubt but I think this one hurt.

A1 is exciting, but I had both fists in the air going "fuck yea!" when Eli passed into the lead, and a few "holy shit!"'s out loud that last moto. One of the best races I've ever seen. I'm already psyched for Ironman '25.
