I’m fine with them following the rules if that’s the way it has been interpreted (points and purse but no loss of position) BUT the rule needs to be changed going forward.

So if they don’t follow the rule book to the letter you guys complain, and when they do follow the rule book to the letter, you guys complain. Doesn’t get much dumber than that.

I think the penalty is ok. Roczen didn’t lose the race right there. He never had the speed Marvin had all race. So the win doesn’t bother me too much. Also I think Roczen is enough of a man the he doesn’t want to win one that way.

I don't have any issue here. Rule broken, penalty per the rulebook applied. What's the big deal really.

Brayton was down on the side of the track on the next double past Reed so they should have rolled that one too. Although it was unlikely they'd be able to see him. ALL riders should have been rolling the whole section. That should be the rule, but who knows with the AMA if they'd even enforce it consistently.

3/24/2019 8:46am And for everyone saying it cost Roczen the win, check out the leader gap times for the race. He fell back 2.5 seconds after the incident. Then on lap 10 he was .7 seconds behind Marvin. Then Marvin pulled away. Ken caught him but couldn’t make the pass.

3/23/2019 11:50pm 3rd-7th place all rolled the entire section. Then Savatgy and Webb start doubling half way near Reed. Looks like the guys don’t all know the rules. LOL.
