Have you ever raced? I’m not being a dick, it’s a serious question.. Everything happens SOOO fast as soon as the gate drops, it’s easy to watch the slow-mo replay and say what he should have done, but the reality is things like this happen in a split second.

Not to mention the most important thing in this game is a good start and that's the main focus for all these racers ever since they were on 50s it is not in their nature to let off and give it up, but as you said it's easy to sit here from a perfect camera angle in slow mo what he should have did. Sucks for the guy 2 crashes in a row that weren't 100% on him.

His job is to win. He was at work trying to do his job.

Some people on here are absolute dicks, in the other thread people saying he is stupid, can’t ride and should quit etc.. if you have ever raced, you would know how quick things like that can happen, you have to feel sorry for anyone getting hurt at round 1 after all that work in the offseason.

This thing has been split right down the middle since I posted it. I like polls because they give you the accurate data from a much larger audience outside of the regular vital forum posters.

Be cool if they streamed this one live on Youtube for free. Bring a lot of extra eyes to their series and sponsors.

I don’t understand this. Dude won almost every SX features he rode last year I feel like and has top 10 lap times in the 250’s at times. Got to be more to it….

This kid has matured and is honest and humble in this video. He has gone through so much and I will be moving him to the top of my list as a rider to support in the future, Yes he has crashed a lot but it's only because he has such a strong will to win. He should be applauded for that desire and willingness to put it on the line. He is one of only a small handful of guys who has the speed to win. He has my full support as a person and a racer. I think...

I have nothing against Forkner and SX/MX is better when he is racing. We will miss him on the West Coast. His crashes are unfortunate and I cannot fault him. Bad luck, ugly juju...whatever you wanta call it can't last forever. I wish him a full and speedy recovery.

2 crashes in a row that weren't entirely on him, this one we can sit up here watching a replay saying he should have chopped the throttle and yes he should have but things move quick and a racer has nothing but holeshot on his mind at this point. Still young I hope he gives it another go.

One of my observations: It was weird how many fans were wearing shirts or hats that said stuff like, “I eat ass” or something similar. Also weird was the guy with a huge flag on his truck that said, “show me that butthole”

It was definitely sold out. Had some friends begging the ticket booth people for tickets and there weren't any to be sold. Their only option was to buy nosebleed tickets from Stubhub for $700 and they said F that and left like a lot of other people who got turned away.
