Crazy how few people have nuance in their takes. I think it's pretty clear that Factory Kawi is a bit of a mess right now and it certainly is making matters worse. At the same time, Chase is notoriously bad at setting up a motorcycle and gets way too mental about chasing the perfect feel. Both things can be true, and it's pretty obvious.

Do we think he's ridden the '27 KX yet? With a new frame, swingarm and the wheelbase change, this will be a significantly different bike than the '26. If it wasn't for the dispute about what happened at Thunder Valley, I would still say staying on the KX was the likely outcome. But none of us know... Frankly, speculation and bench racing is fun and here we are.

They never recovered from trying to steal riders from the SX series with their scheduling competing with outdoors because of that they never got the manufacturers support and without that your dead….

I hope FIM finally goes bankrupt trying to compete against 1 and only true World Supercross Championship. Sick of their money grab approach to everything they've tried to do to sway riders away from AMA Supercross. And I'm glad it backfired not once, twice, but 4 times now. Now all the remaining talent can come here instead of big fish in a little pond.

None of these series work unless the manufacturers and sponsors cover the bulk of the costs on the talent side. If SX had to depend on stadium revenue and TV deal to cover everything it wouldn't work either. WSX model was never going to work without manufacturers providing the talent.

Not a surprise. The venue held European Athletics Champs a few months ago, place was half empty, no onsite parking, park and ride miles away, and expensive as hell, and honestly, while there was a buzz about the Villa Park event, this one seems to have been really quiet and poorly promoted, to the point where i dont think i have spoken to anyone that i know who is going. Its an hour at best from me, and if i wasnt working another event , i would probably go , but not before seeing the weather forecast. I feel sorry...
