No offense to Medium or Buttery, but I have never seen anything that leads me to believe they maintain any of their bikes well.

Ya’ll probably give me the most down votes in history for this but have you seen Medium Boy on Buttery Films try and keep his KX’s together? His 250 and 450 are constantly falling apart. The KX’s seem to be the worst in the reliability arena by many accounts. If I was buying new bikes every 50hrs I might give it a thought. My 21’ gasgas has 150hrs, never needed valves adjusted, I put a recluse clutch in it at 100hrs because I thought the cover looked cool not because it needed one, had the suspension done once, and have...

250 SX are Regional Championships not National.

That’s the difference between most riders and the elite. Prado clearly belongs in the elite category and something definitely held him back this year. Look at Tony Cairoli, a retired 39 year old came over and put up similar results on a brand new motorcycle.

Don't all exhausts have rivets (or screws)?

The "dents" are placed for side panel inserts that press against the exhaust. You don't see them when installed. Their system is extremely fitted to maximize the space available on the CRF450R. Rivets are basically in the same place they are on a PC or FMF system...
