I think Prado’s got a better chance here compared to the best American rider going to the GP’s.

New tracks, different prep, one day format, different bike set up, fuel spec on and on. He'll be fast for sure but Vialle most recently didn't come over and dominate and how many world titles does he have? He'll get there for sure but I'll bet he's good for 2 wins this season.

Sexton is defending 450 MX champ and even if he doesn't win SX this year he has 5 wins. How could he possibly be #2 to Prado? 1A and 1B maybe.

I don’t know if you have been at a normal practice track in Holland or Belgium but they are really crowded and filled with small bikes, quads, sidecar bikes, VET’s and GP riders. There are no training facilities to hide in when it comes to European ground, and he became a multi-time world champion training on those tracks and conditions. I don’t have all the stats in my head but I’m pretty sure that he beat most or all the American riders at a American MXdN on his 250f while training that way in Europe. So no, I doubt that...

IDK about the original question, but I'm happy we have him here. I've been watching the videos of him riding lately, damn does he look good on a bike. Excited to see him in the mix with Eli, Jett and Chase.

Herlings went 1-1 at Ironman and Clemente Desalle almost podiumed at Unadilla in the past. I think Prado will be just fine, may take few races to adjust but the dude is 2x 450 champion. Who also was beating Herlings and Gasjer. Who Gasjer went toe to toe with Jett…

Prado comes from the north-west of Spain where it is definitely not as hot as in the south. Moreover, he lived in Belgium for a long time. Prado has had problems with the heat, especially in his mx2 time. But maybe his time in Italy did him good in terms of dealing with heat.

Glennhellen is closer to a national track than any of those flat east coast tracks with man made hills. In about 3-4 weeks every factory rider will be training in SoCal for a few weeks anyways. He will be fine.

The differences between MXGP and our MX series don't appear that significant on the surface...I mean, it's guys riding dirt bikes on dirt tracks. But, historically very few have had great success trying their hand at the opposite series. It'd be interesting to interview the few that have made it work to see if there's something they have in common that others don't.

I'm also curious why this is something you want to know? If you are purposely trying to make your bike as loud as possible....well that's a special kind of stupid and the rest of us who enjoy dirt bikes would appreciate if you found a new hobby before you go ruin riding areas and get them closed.

Just take the mufflers off bro and run the header only. Will be very loud and chicks will notice you.
