Then I have pretty much designed my maintenance/riding program to be as easy as possible. The more time I have to spend on something the less likely I am to do. Heed the sage advice you've already been given. It would likely be easier to get rid of a venereal disease. And even if you had to give both of them to someone, the person that got VD from you wouldn't dislike you as much as the one who got your 426.

This is the worst place to get medical advice. It is absolutely okay to assess others experiences but leave that up to your surgeon on when you can return on the bike. It is not worth getting injured again or making it worse. Axel Hodges broke his femur and was off the bike for 6+ months.

First on the list of to dos was try out the 30 dollar gravity feed sand blaster that my wife surprised me with about a year ago. I spent about a half hour cleaning up the cases with some degreaser and elbow grease then started my assault breathing some life back into these puppies, the blaster it self didn’t work great but it works good enough! After about a hour of blasting with glass bead media and shaking the blaster like I was head maracan in the mariachi band I had the final product which were some I’d say 8/10...

That is bad! Cherry picking has been around forever and I see it’s not getting any better. At 64 I’m done racing but if I was I’d much rather finish 20th in the Pro class than pick up cheap plastic winning the Novice race.

23 your at your peak as a man. I think I was 23 or 24 for my 1st race. My const job had me out of state working so not a lot of time to ride. I rode a Mx bike maybe 8-10 times deep sand tracks in town. I rode with a kid that won 125 c then moved to 125a. We slammed each other in corners & raced each other hard. My 1st race I asked how many laps , they said 125 a is 8 laps more than the other classes. I thought cool I get to...

I plan on going to my local track for practice days for awhile till I get everything down before I race. I expect to get beaten badly my first couple times tho. But I'm willing to put in the hard work that comes with this sport. I'll will keep that in mind! Also do they offer motocross training at tracks?

As everyone has said, it's never too late. What to expect?.... probably not to do very well in your first few races (from a results perspective). But have fun with it and don't get discouraged. Set small goals for each race and work on technique and speed when practicing. You certainly don't need to live at any training facility but if some local A/pro guys offer a Saturday or weekend training session, you might want to consider those to help you along.

The tracks have sucked, the weather has not helped but the original concept of SX was “indoor” that means covered stadiums so weather does not ruin the party….how is it they built better tracks in the 90”s-2000”s compared to now? Hopefully the Honda gearbox explodes in one main event to close up the points gap😂

Jumps are still fun, but really slamming a sand berm perfectly, is great. I also enjoy being able to push on a rough track for 35 minutes.
