Steiny Part-2 Added a reply to Any parents/mid-career people in here step away from riding?
8/7/2025 7:28am This is advice from a guy who has a lot regret raising kids. Put your hobbies on hold and enjoy the stuff they want to do. Raising kids is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and they grow up fast. I spent a lot of time making money and chasing status in my chosen hobby. I was ferociously competitive in...

8/7/2025 5:41am No, it went away after I was back in shape. My elbow developed tendinitis, not sure if that’s from the injury, but that does hurt some times, but not while riding.

8/6/2025 7:23am I broke mine and with no surgery I tried riding in 8 weeks, but it was too early because of muscle atrophy. I hit the gym hard for four weeks and was good after that. The bone never hurt, but my whole arm and shoulder hurt during and after riding soI had to just ride through it.

7/30/2025 3:35pm A few people have never seen JMB, Marv or Ken ride before. Jett has changed a few things, especially unlocking the hips and riding light on the bike. The announcers talked about the crafty Frenchman and how he hopped around the track years ago.

7/30/2025 3:28pm Why do so many guys act like this is a new thing? This is something my dad has taught, shown and worked with me on since I got on 60’s in the late 90’s. That’s not to take away from Jett at all, this is just nothing new.

7/30/2025 6:07am When he started winning nobody really knew who he was, and a few of the riders talked shit about it. So Bevo had the shirt made when he was Bobs mechanic to make fun of it.

7/15/2025 12:20pm Thx for the info . I,m just riding for fun. Sunday 2 guys rode the pump track then took a break . I asked them could you please ride a little more so I can learn how to ride it. So they did. I hv the new slayco 96 evs TP199 type knee pads . Medium should’ve fit the calf’s are wayy too small. I cut the bottom 1/2 off to get them on. I never wore a helmet for bmx but I,ll get a used one off of fb.

7/15/2025 11:24am Mosh Lux 5 Star isn’t a bad park bike at all for that price, but I think it’s too heavy to race. MacNeil rear hub isn’t bad either. Can’t tell what the front hub is, but it laced up to a good rim. I can’t tell what the rest of the parts are. Be careful on a pump track when...

7/8/2025 7:33am That's the beauty of forums I suppose. Dont agree, and tomac's hangtown ride in 15' was superior, so was chase's hangtown last year, and so was RC's lapping the field.

7/8/2025 7:33am Every time Jett dumps the clutch when the gate drops we are witnessing perfection. That second moto was epic and the pass made on Cooper was mind boggling. Weather or not Jett ends up eclipsing RC in wins because there’s a long way to go, really doesn’t matter. I never thought I’d ever say this, but I believe after watching that second moto , I’m watching the Greatest MX rider I’ve ever seen. Jett is a finally tuned machine and Honda has given him everything he needs.

6/6/2025 4:55am i was just answering your question. heavy aerobic exercise will "use up" hemoglobin. hct in low 50s is not uncommon. not medical advice obviously and if you have a family history of stroke, are heavily MRNA'd or unhealthy, you should be very careful.
