I have never said a thing about Matthes ever before in my life aside from I dig some of his stuff. This situation has proven he is a tool. His whole "kid says there were only 2 people in the room but there were actually 3 people" bitch fest is so petty. I assume he has never heard the term "selective attention." The discrepancies between his interviews on pulp mx show vs ML's interviews are shocking. I don't need to rehash the inconsistency of the people he is choosing to side with on this. Let's just say the majority of...

100%. I had a feeling Weege was telling half-truth when he was on Pulp. Matthes. You’re big enough to tell the story how it is. Let us see now if you’ve ‘sold out’ (sold-in more accurately) or true to your word. Let’s go Steve.

I’m sure most of you are familiar with Mr. Carmichael’s resume’, but anyway; Multi-time American Motocross & Supercross champion AND three-time MXDN winner. Currently an announcer and, terrific ambassador for our sport. The last time America won the MXDN (“MXON” if you like), was 2011. Then, seconds and thirds until 2017, when we finished ninth, yes 9th ! 2018, we got fifth (5th) at Red Bud, home country on America’s track. This cannot happen again. 25 September 2022- the MXDN is back at Red Bud and - we need a fresh outlook and a new manager, that man for the...

You are either insane or severely brain washed if you think Putin is a good person and the situation unfolding is some how positive. I can't believe something as blatant as this is somehow still dividing us... We're all fucked, this divide is getting out of control beyond anything I would have ever imagined.

If ever there was an issue that could unite us, it should be opposition to Putin... but not in today's cable-news alternate reality. For anyone who doesn't know, boycotting profitable events causes people to put pressure on their leaders, encouraging better behavior. Putin knows damn well that his actions are going to result in economic hardship for his people. It's not up to other nations to coddle them.

davis224 Liked a reply to forum topic Unpopular Opinion: Pulpmx Show Wrap-up

Just started listening to Pulp a few months ago, started on a long roadtrip and only got through 2 episodes of the wrap up show before I couldn't handle the redundancy and trying to break down and pick apart things that didn't need an explanation. Good for them if they can squeeze a little more sponsorship and ad revenue out, but I equate it to scraping the peanut butter jar clean, and then cutting it open and licking it to get every last bit of it out... not really necessary. Enjoy the regular show but breaking down a show where...

Too much waiting around- not enough riding time. Switched to off road and never looked back. Don’t regret it for a second.

Here's my '89 covid build. Finally done with the world wide scavenger hunt: I'm pretty sure Lucky Nino has the baddest '89's in the world. Props to him for helping me shave some weight off my bike. Thanks to Tom Morgan and Gary Faxon too, they both did amazing work. I was stoked to see these guys having fun on a couple '89's recently. Everyone should own a 125 no matter what age they are:

Forkner is fast...but he talks mucho shit for a rider who hasn't won any more than he has. I hope he comes back and shows what Mitch thinks he's capable of...and perhaps he'll have matured a little being on the sidelines. Being out of the spotlight does that sometimes.

Vuillemin was incredibly on point. His distinction between core and wannabe is instinctual, and that's why his disdain was unmistakeable. It's not surprising the gumflapping hipster didn't appreciate what was said to him, because he doesn't and never will understand moto. The irony of the hipster douche arguing with moto over the very meaning of moto is priceless..

When he asked DV, "What if you're wrong?", I wish DV would have said, "If I'm wrong, you're going to blow this sport up to unprecedented levels and be hailed by all as the greatest thing that ever happened.... But if I'm right, then you're just an annoying, smug, condescending punk"

Calls motocross fans insecure. Then instantly goes on to say it was the lads in England who got Top Gear cancelled. Was nothing to do with him or his show . I think most people already know that .it Seems like something an insecure person would say . Goes on to say to DV , " but what if your wrong " without ever considering that he could be wrong . Seemed like he spent 8 mins solid talking about himself without stopping. I did nt care about what he does on the broadcast. But the guy is a complete...

All the other sports you list are "real" sports organizations with professional PR people at the helm that know what they are doing. Supercross is literally run by a former circus owner who treats racers like poorly paid help instead of world class athletes. Motocross is run by a loose knit group of local track owners and a motocross magazine editor. This is a fringe "sport" to begin with, and the people in charge of promoting it don't have enough skills. The athletes are no better, most being home schooled kids who can't do anything in front of a camera...

It’s a good question. I think it’s KR for now at least (AC soon?). The sport would benefit from a rider like McGrath again that has a larger than life personality and was built to not only win but entertain. That era was when the stadiums were full, new money was coming in from the outside and a lot of fans became interested after being exposed to the sport. Same with Pastrana, early James Stewart, etc. At some point some riders should recognize the correlation between being entertaining and sponsorship $$.
