Everts had perfect form on his Yinaldi factory 450 very similar to Jett, yet RC could turn up to his back yard, on a 250 2 stroke, get shite starts in the deep wet sand, and still catch, pass & drop him, riding the bike like he stole it looking nothing like Jett. Go figure

Make it like this… SX - 2 stroke series MX - 4 stroke series SMX playoffs - run what you want Back in reality. If they don’t want the 250s to run a full season they need to set it up like this. 7 rounds east and west. So you still have an east and west championship. Then have the last 3 rounds as a shootout that’s playoff for the overall 250 championship. Top 9 guys in the standings from both coast are automatic qualifiers and everyone that’s left over has to go the LCQ.

I'll take a step further and throw out a whole redesign of the SX format. - Age-limited E/W regional class, maybe they run 4-5 races per year instead every round. Shootout at the finale only. Replaces futures class. Age limit around 19-20, but negotiable. Maybe based on exp instead of age? - 250 class, no regions, full schedule. - 250 and 450 classes go to 2-moto format, regionals stay with one. - To help compensate for more races with the intro of the "new" futures class and dual moto format, do away with heat races. KTM as a motorcycle manufacturer are great. KTM as a team are short sighted idiots. There's a whole list of examples like this, and practically every time the guy in question has been doing good/great given their circumstances.
