I can’t stand sports betting. It definitely had a negative impact on the athletes and the sport as a whole. The only one it truly benefits are companies who own the books. Baseball is really bad right now. Lots of death threats and threats against families of players because someone didn’t hit their 8 leg parlay. There’s also been multiple players suspended this year for gambling on baseball, which could get them a lifetime ban from MLB. The riders in our sport already deal with enough for only a fraction of the pay they deserve. They don’t need more bullshit...

Fast forward a few years later, he did continue to improve his results and added a few race wins to his career. It's a shame that he always walked in the shadow of Herlings. As a Dutch guy I have the feeling that he is well respected by the Dutch fans, but a lot of people still underestimate his career results and consistency.

There were some rumours about HEP Suzuki for outdoors, but not sure how that is materialized. I also saw some rumours about him going to KTM Brasil. It's a shame, he is one of the most respected and hard working guys in MXGP. Definitely a likeable personality

Easy fix, start watching 1.5 hours after the first gate drop so you can fast forward thru all the commentary, commercials and filler. I fast forward to the gate drops and once the checkered flag is thrown fast forward to the next drop. I don’t really have an interest in all the “talk” and interviews. Starting 1.5 hours after first gate drop allows you to catch up and finish in nearly real time. There’s rarely anything said in pre or post race interviews that’s “interesting” to me. It’s also better than waiting for the replay to be posted by Peacock...
