What is the peacock broadcast prepping us for electric bikes by not having any bike sounds during the broadcast? Might be my feed.

Preparing us for the TomacBandWagon® Huge Tomac fan but I don't think they gave Jett credit for the amount of time he's had on the bike compared to Eli. Also, so amazing to not hear Diffy in the booth, so less stressful

I think Leigh would be better suited commentating a croquet game

I don’t understand why I have 8,000 commercials with a paid subscription.

I don’t understand why I have 8,000 commercials with a paid subscription.

Easy fix, start watching 1.5 hours after the first gate drop so you can fast forward thru all the commentary, commercials and filler. I fast forward to the gate drops and once the checkered flag is thrown fast forward to the next drop. I don’t really have an interest in all the “talk” and interviews. Starting 1.5 hours after first gate drop allows you to catch up and finish in nearly real time.  There’s rarely anything said in pre or post race interviews that’s “interesting” to me.   It’s also better than waiting for the replay to be posted by Peacock because then you’re forced to watch commercials as you can’t fast forward thru the imbedded commercials. This is the same way I watch the NFL. I can watch a football game in 1.5 hours fast forwarding directly to the snap of the ball.

I was wondering about this. Up until now, I was always able to watch replays with the commercials completely cut out with no advertising.

I had to watch the replay last night and noticed what you mentioned... the forced commercial breaks during the replay. Thats new to mine.

Also, there is a 15 second ad now any time I start anything and it was never like that before.

Same. I think we have to upgrade from the $5 subscription to the next tier. I’m not budging though, somehow my subscription got wacky and it’s free until 2027.

I have the "upgrade" annual subscription, but when I watch it live it will not let me pause, FF, or rewind on my Samsung TV?

I used to be able to pause, etc., but not this season (incl SX).

If I wait and watch the replay, I can pause, FF, and rewind.

I don't know shit about tech, but it must be a Samsung TV issue or something because when we are out of town I take a Fire stick with me and can pause, FF, and rewind when watching with a fire stick rather than just streaming on our Samsung TV.

But every other app we have (Netflix, Paramount, Prime, etc) we can pause, FF, rewind, it is only the Peacock app that won't let me do that live. Frustrating.

I experience the same with my Samsung. It is frustrating because I used to do the trick where you tune in a little late to avoid all the bs, and save some time in my day. Oh well, first world problems are good problems to have.

I have had separate accounts over time with a couple different emails.

I always get the "ad-free" premium for about 14 a month.

However, I did get an offer to start my unused account back going for $26 for a whole year  (which they say is normally a $79 annual premium account). It seems to be the best premium annual package available so I paid the 26 and im currently letting my monthly premium account I normally use cancel.

I haven't bothered checking the replay situation on the 'old' account.

Maybe that's part of the fine print in this new promotion for the annual premium for such a cheap offer. Dealing with ads and commercials are not worth it for a discount, imo.

I should probably log into the monthly and check the replay before that one hits the end date and compare, but logging and relogging can be a few hoops to jump through on my projector where I watch stuff.

Was kind of hoping someone officially knew of anything about policy/plan changes since there was a peacock thread started. It wouldn't surprise me if premium streaming packages start naturally integrating more ads, even in premium paid packages. Especially NBC with the current state of Comcast or whatever.

I literally hooked up a brand new Samsung for the race was hoping to be able to rewind the beginning and fast forward to the commercials it wouldn't let me pause or do anything else but all the other apps I can is there a trick to this?

I started the race at 6EST, rewound to beginning of motos, watched entire race and fast forwarded through every commercial break, talking and podium speeches. Using a fire tv with peacock app, basic peacock version. Only commercials were between motos not during like in years past.

It sounds like you're paying for the cheaper version with ads.

Premium Plus = no ads for on-demand content or at the start of live broadcasts. Live broadcasts will still have commercial breaks because it's a live broadcast and they take breaks, not much you can do about that.

Premium = ads at the start and throughout live and on-demand content.

Spectrum internet added Peacock to our lineup for free a couple of months ago, pretty sweet.

That doesn’t work for me. It makes me watch every commercial segment.

That's the best way. Watch the first motos record the rest and ff through the fluff. Works for Supercross too.

And the dang air horns!😡

Ya I'm old.🤣🤣

One of the horns at the podium was right behind me, eventually right beside me, good thing i had airpods in(i have sensitive hearing, so i need ear protection around dirt bikes).

I must not have the right package, because it makes me watch all commercials. I am glad the Skyrizi commercial went back to the original song. It’s really catchy. 🤣

Protect those ears.  Between seeing Aerosmith in the 70's to riding 500cc 2 strokes in the 80's, among other things my hearing is diminished for sure.

LOL 🤣🤣 I have the first gen pros, they have three modes, transparency, you can hear a lot of things around you, off mode, which blocks out some noise, and noise cancellation blocks out most noise.
