5/25/2025 5:57am If you think this is part of some master strategy, I fear you are wrong. The way this would work is to release a plan, and then follow the plan, so American businesses can figure out how to move forward with the plan. This is just chaos. And it will only benefit the wealthy. Swamp 2.0. I had high hopes, but everyday I just see less to be enthusiastic about. And no, I am not saying the Democrats would have been better. But they would have been more predictable.

5/25/2025 5:56am “If it makes people mad that I don’t like then it must be good” Yeah this is exactly how we ended up where we are now. Plenty of non LiBeRaLs can see what a joke this all is, myself included

5/25/2025 5:54am Liberation day made it more clear there is absolutely no plan. It was embarrassing to watch, impossible to comprehend. When the folks who voted for this start getting laid off due to cancelled projects, we will see if they change their tune. Probably not.

5/25/2025 5:54am Starting a trade war with Cambodia is wild. I love how he said one of the poorest countries is “getting rich by taking advantage of us. Not anymore!” What a fucking clown.

1/7/2024 6:19am If you aint fast enough to pass the second place rider, you aint fast enough to pass the leader either. Coop threw what he had at Jason and could not pass. And for the next time, get on it earlier then. Don’t wait 15 minutes to make a pass if you want to have a chance to win the race..

1/6/2024 8:00pm Coming all the way from the outside and cutting hard towards the inside. Highly doubt anyone saw him coming until it was too late. They had nowhere to go. Normally I would give anyone else a benefit of the doubt, but it’s Vince Friese….He knew what would happen and doesn’t care. Just how he rides. It is what it is.

2/23/2023 5:09pm What I really liked about district racing back then in district 7, 13, 29 was they kept track of your points accumulated pretty damn good. Carol Pigg (Jimmy Pigg’s mom) ran a tight ship and she worked her butt off. If I remember right, green number plates were C class, yellow plates were B class and black/white plates were A...

2/23/2023 4:58pm my name is Jim Nagle Many years late to this discussion but definitely fascinated by the stories of many of the old tracks I raced on. My first ever in-person spectating MX was probably 71 (or 72) Waldorf. It was pre-Elsinore so the Pentons were very popular. My first race was in Granby CO at 8000 ft. Bike was improperly jetted and I dnf'd. In 1973, my 2nd race on a Hodaka Wombat (not Combat) was at Cedar Ridge. In 1975 I bought a leftover 73 CZ250. In the fall of that year was one of my all time racing...

kevinmichaelsommer Liked a reply to forum topic One more track question. Baldwin, KS Inter-am/National track.
2/23/2023 4:52pm As it was south of US56 which runs mostly on the northside of Baldwin, it would have been just south of Baldwin City, KS. I believe a couple of miles south of Baldwin.. My Dad, Art Sommer, made and sold the event t-shirts out of his yellow "Yamaha" van at the Nationals in 1974 I believe. Those were some fun days. That track was hellacious, especially for a little kid on an 80cc Yamaha motocross bike..

2/23/2023 4:49pm I raced there in 1974. They had an Inter-Am/National in '73 and '74 that I know of. I remember the track as south of Lawrence and and a mile or two east of US-59. But can't remember if it was north or south of Baldwin. I've searched Google Maps numerous times looking for something familiar, but cannot locate the track. Does anyone know where the track was? Thanks.

2/23/2023 4:44pm Keep up with the personal insults while the few of us on the left smile at the lack of direct responses points raised that go against the conservative tide here. Insults and memes are the best you guys can come up with instead of debating the points. The real killer is you guys rant and rave about Biden but you don't get accused of having Biden Derangement Syndrome but when anyone responds with a reference to Trump, OMG it is TDS and meme city. Definition of irony.

2/21/2023 7:51am The guys we typically pitted with were Tim Hopkins, Al Albiker, MArk Lambert in the later days when he got started in MX. Went to school with Steve Taylor, his brother Glen was a few years behind us. It was the years the Boutwells, Mike Bell, Jeff Lanahan, George Cavanaugh, Brian Savage, and a bunch of others were active. Budds Creek, My favorite track. More trophies from there then anywhere else. Back when Johns Mother was running it and John was "helping" her. :-) I'll have to post more photos sometime. I have over a thousand in albums. 2/21/2023 7:31am Hey everyone. Thought some of you might enjoy seeing my extensively modded 1979 Honda CR250. The bike was initially purchased in pretty good shape - low hours, still original tires, etc. Then sent to Scott Steger at Vintage Factory for the initial build. After getting the bike from Scott, I have changed and added a few things. It's a sweet bike. IMHO these Hondas were the best looking bikes ever made. The bike is not a garage queen - you'll see me racing at Glen Helen and Lake Elsinore typically. The following is a list of mods: General - bike...
