Same reason theres vet guys racing the 250 class in general. Why rush when you can make the 250 class a career class.

Crashes are part of racing and he played his cards better than them, so he won his title against all of them. The same argument of injuries can be used for 2022 title (Herlings and Fevbre injured) and 2021 and 2020 titles (Herlings injured, Prado with cronical covid issues). So his MXGP title is as valid as any other, he is World Champion.

Roczen raced one Motocross race all year and then won the MxDN 450 class with a terrible start and stalling in the same Moto. If your good, your good. So no.

Hell is definitely freezing over because this is the second time in 12 months I have agreed with you. The mud and rain, although crappy for spectators in person, and the mechanics, has been an awesome equalizer and made the beginning rounds very interesting.

Well, so I don't offend anyone, I refer to a triple as a "multi-jump" - it's just more inclusive. But a quad is an easy answer - it's simply something that reduces your IQ when you ride it.

His clutch lever was pushed way up high. He stopped to fix it. I would guess he did that so he could try to ride at a decent pace and work his way back up.

3 races in and Plessinger and Ferrandis are the only 2 riders to have completed all the laps in the 2024 450 season. Everyone else has been at least a lap down at least 1 time in the first 3 races. I know the mud throws all regular trends out the windows, but thought that was a pretty cool stat. Anybody know if there was ever a season where no one finished on the lead lap in every race?

This right here. Haha. I might be more sore than he is today😂 So happy for Plessinger, couldn’t have happened for a better dude or bigger fan favorite. It was as loud as Colorado cheering for Eli last year before he got hurt.

So happy for him! He was riding great all 3 races so far. A1 shitty start. And at SF he somehow just didn't have it in the main. But he's the only one with 3 top 5s now and only one of two riders in 450 that havent gotten lapped in any race. Gotta feel good for him after literally nobody talked about him going into the season. Now he's leading Jett and his title defending teammate.
