Seems like a great kid. His excitement is contagious and was nice to see how excited he was on the podium. I’d love to see him gain the confidence needed to be up front every weekend, the 250 class is on fire right now.

Like it or not, Bam is still one of the top 450 supercross riders in the world. He's won A1 back to back in recent years and let's not forget that he was contending for a moto win against some tough competition a year ago at the LA SMX round before he completely wadded up and broke himself off. Compound coming off that injury list with a new 450 chassis that the KTM group are just now getting their heads wrapped around and Barcia's 2024 results make better sense. He also got injured again mid-season. He should be much better...

Looks like they will be mostly to be Ducati in 2026. GasGas team still could be in TLD gear as part of the break up amends for 2025. Husky has two semis, so one could be come GasGas. Barcia could be one of the two launch athletes in the USA for Ducati in 2026.

During amateurs I thought Ryder D ahead of Deegan in terms of taw talent, but it was very very clear that Deegan has the will to win no matter what. Still surprised at the lack of results for Ryder D, I expected him to be top 5 going for podiums by now.

That seems to be the case with all of the big amateur teams for the last few years. The only phenom to actually make podiums has been Deegan. Look at Mumford, Ryder, Romano, Bennick, Towers, etc. it's time to stop hyping up these amateurs as the next big thing. They rarely ever are.

Not to derail this thread but if you believe the Deegans to be "true American hero's" you know nothing about America. I have served with both Doug and Amy and they are closer to being American hero's than any of the Deegan's. I served with Doug when he was flying F-18's off the pointy end of the USS Independence over in Japan, and served with Amy at the bureau in Millington when Casey was just a baby. I guess you and I have a different idea about what makes a person a hero.
