And he’d probably be more than proud to go. Jokes aside, I’d rather send guys who appreciate and want the opportunity to go and represent their country. Imagine a country full of Aaron Plessingers. Fun, laid back, patriotic, drama free etc. That’s the kind of person I wanna send.

Everyone complaining of the cost for the US riders, its a valid point but think of the smaller nations that manage to go to every single MXDN with a tiny fraction of the support the US team has, A fraction of the bank accounts the riders have and do what they can to represent their country. US riders are the best paid in the world, so if other nations manage to bring a team then the US should have no problem doing so.

unpopular opinion, it should go the Olympics route but have it every other 2 yrs , make the event even more special because its not held every yr plus it gives these guys a much more of a off season after the main series

We all kind of laugh that it happened but we have massively understated the problem. What is the problem? The AMA has had multiple flagger incidents, ranging from local flaggers to AMA full time employees, that have led to bad injuries, penalties effecting race results and championship points, and increased risk of bad injuries. The most susceptible time for injury to a rider is the end of a race when they are more worn out and the track is rough. We watched the top rider in the series do an extra lap at full race pace between motos. Thank god...

It was a little tough as someone who is used to rolling up and having the same parking spot and viewing areas year after year, but our sport is bigger than me and I’m ecstatic to see it booming!!!

Nothing against Devin Simonson but he doesn't move the needle in terms of results or press... Zacho does, however. Especially when you need to replace someone like Marchbanks, who in the eyes of sponsors is a top ten to top five guy.

Eli typically starts slow when figuring out a bike... even in 2022, he went 7-4 at round 1 because he wasn't able to properly test for outdoors due to a tweaked knee from SX. I remember him saying they botched the setup and his rear end was way too low, leading to bad arm pump. With that type of setup issue being possible, as well as the fact that he hasn't raced outdoors since MXdN 2022 and is coming back from an injury, I would be very surprised if he showed up at Budds and contended for the overall.
