If it's medical, I get it... I would rather have him race, but I understand as someone that has had multiple surgeries on extremities and lined up for 2 more later this year, got to take care of the body.

I thought Haiden could get the hardware out this week right after Washougal, then rest up and ride a few days next week and then race if everything goes smoothly so he can race mxon. I think if he truly cared about growing the brand overseas then he would race mxon when he’s not dealing with an injury and grow his fan base even more.
Us should send a team…. Matterly seems like more of a us style track, I think they could do well.
For someone who makes a big deal about loving his country and being patriotic you would think he would do anything he could to represent his country and prove he is the best.
If he is physically incapable of competing through injury. That’s fair. But I dont think its a big deal to him. America deserve to field their best riders. Sexton and Deegan gives thrm a really great chance at winning depending on who they can get for the third spot.

It's certainly not unpatriotic to decline racing the MXoNs when he has valid reason for not going.

No, only the Luongo ( or however you spell their name) family mafia gets paid. They barely pay travel fees to teams to get to the event. All you fuckers that have shit on Davey Combs the past few weeks really need to reevaluate your position if you're going to shit on riders that don't want to attend and how promoters run things. This is the biggest race fan wise for attendence and no one makes a dime but the real Mafia family the Luongo's. Like Gravel said Donnie Hansen went over there for pride and lost it all for what? He was on the poised to being one of the biggest superstars in our sport and it ended because of this event which gave him nothing in return.

unpopular opinion, it should go the Olympics route but have it every other 2 yrs , make the event even more special because its not held every yr plus it gives these guys a much more of a off season after the main series
