He wanted to come to the Lakewood national the year they got it back on the circuit and get this, he wanted airfare, hotel, meals and a ATV to ride around the track. we said no thanks. Laughing

Supposedly he was trying to somehow trademark it and wanted royalties, so im pretty sure everyone told him gtfo.

Yeah I know tiny rollers and exit whoops with a wall jump -stupid. Amateur day on Fri there was none, 70 a class to race yet. I always thought the whoop monster ruined the section. Whoop Monster was kind of a cool, fun little thing - but then somewhere around 2012 (or so), he started getting pretty big for his own whooped out shoes.  And I think he went away when no one would pay for him to attend to the races, nor license his presence, or whatever he was asking for.  And I think the Martins might have said it was best that he take some time off, and given what he was asking for.  

That was that, and it went away altogether.

But then in 2019 (or so, maybe 2018), he started coming back in a more low key manner, and was welcomed by most everyone. 

However, the return was maybe short lived, as I haven't seem him in a few years, and have no idea why why he went away a second time.

But the Whoop Monster was always a fun sighting...

Kind of a moto urban legend...

 

I suppose it would get annoying if you were viewing in Mr. Monster's general area with all the noise and whoop activities.  It is both cool and annoying with all the air horns nowadays.  Great event at Millville!
