FYI, Pastrana designed the Baltimore track and says that the track map doesn’t do it justice at all. He said it’s the longest set of whoops of the year straight into a set of sand whoops, vertical berm faces, and sections of the track that are wider than any other of the year. He had said they were going to be dragon backs on it but I don’t see them on this version of the track map. Let’s hope Feld doesn’t change anything anymore.

I think most guys do their pistons way too early, notice every time people post about doing rebuilds or top ends at low intervals they say everything looked brand new, you are just wasting money and introducing more potential for failures. This was from my 2021 350 with 200 hours, 120 of them were B level GNCC and hare scramble racing not exactly on the rev limiter but certainly not an easy life. I put 60 hours on the new top end, timing chain before I sold it.

im in the same boat. this was talked about in the LA WSX thread a couple weeks ago. When you figure in gas ($7/gallon here in los angeles), parking, food, drinks, taking a family of 4 or 5 is gonna set you back around $1,000 these days. No thank you. I'll pay my 12.99 to peacock, BBQ dinner at home, and sit on my couch and watch it, then fall asleep with a half drank beer. Whats crazy is I remember paying $25/ticket for A1/A2 around 2020/21. Its stupid now.

Rescued my first bike, which was still sitting under a tarp at my neighbor's house. First got the YZ80 in 1986 in Thousand Oaks, CA. Drove by in 2010 to see if the neighbors still lived there. He gave it back to me and said Get it out of here. I worked at YMC at the time and was able to get most of the parts to restore her, minus the Tank, seat, and plastics. Restored her top to bottom.

Remember, back in the day, it was possible for top riders, like David Bailey, to show up at the MXoN, in a Transit van, 'cause in reality, that's all you need. Yes I have. I had a 1990 cr125 back when I was in middle school I consider it my first real motocross bike. From the sounds of things you want to go in on your rebound a few clicks and out on your high speed comp. You've established your sag numbers are correct even if the collar is close to the end of the threads. Less high speed will let the shock ride lower and more rebound will stop it unloading which will intern get the front end higher.

Personally, I'd rather we lose SMX, add the 12th national back to the schedule, and have the fun off season races back (Monster Cup & Red Bull Straight Rhythm) over this gimmicky "World Championship." Gives the guys some time off or time to get some clean-up surgeries before getting into SX testing for the next year. As for the money, spread it across SX and MX.

Get rid of it because I hate watching motocross and rather have nothing until Jan…said no moto fan ever.. I’d watch a new race every weekend 52 weeks a year if I could. I hate the off season., Ya ya..rider need to rest, doesn’t change what I wish.
