Based largley on Lewis' recommendation (and my travel schedule) I attended the Latvian GP this past weekend. What a tremendous event. The circuit was wonderful for spectating. The food at the track was the best I've ever had at a moto event and reasonably priced. The people were knowledgeable and very welcoming. The track itself appears closest to Southwick (which I've only seen on TV). €95 got me a weekend pass with paddock access and a program. The gate for MX2 was thin but EMX 125 and 250 were full. As a plus, I stayed in Riga. Great vibe in...

25 crf 450 vs 25 350 Chassis feel. first let me say this. I rode & wanted to like a 24 & older crf450 but up in the head tube & right under seat a shock tower I felt a stiffness or apparently" lack of" which gave a edgy harsh feel & twitchy . Suspension changes you could do at home did not correct it.I have since rode a Factory connection set up with linkage ect. that is pretty good.also has.a Vortex with a very smooth map 24 & older. Ok the 350 I have had a 25 ,2- 23's...

I could get footpegs only half inch backwards. on my local track there is one I call curved straight 4th or 5th if groomed. Not deep but sand and not very smooth. There I felt difference bike is more stable with offset pegs (then was with stock triples). I am 181cm and bike triangle felt good for me with stock...

yes, one more vote for 24mm Xtrigs. Some time ago they didn't have 24mm for 22nd year, but you can buy 2018 year triple and buy mudguard and front numberplate from 2018. I have such setup. This is best upgrade for me. As well offset footpegs. I vote for HGS exhaust

Zeta Revolver shift lever. But I recommend 1/2" offset footpegs as well. I have both and around same boot size. With offset footpegs bike is more stable on straights

Sure, as a mechanical engineer that also works with triple clamps, I can tell you without a doubt that this has absolutely no effect on feel, flex, or anything else. The only thing it's doing is reducing thread engagement in the clamp, which makes it more likely to strip out the threads. It would honestly be difficult to think of anything any more stupid than this mod.

If you really want to get the proper setting, start with something neutral around 105, then just go about half a turn on the shock at a time (in either direction) and not worry about the measurement until you find the right setting. Once you have something you like, measure it however you feel gives you the most reproducible measurement, and write that measurement and process down.

40-50's is the best riding weather in my opinion. The dirt holds moisture better and I don't sweat like crazy. But I usually just go out for a 15 minute warmup and my hands usually get pretty cold then I go back in and warm them up and they will be good for the rest of the day. I don't know why but it works for me

Runing HGS. Ported head, remap for stock exhaust. Installed exhaust on dyno. HGS graph with not corrected mapping, just best from maps in computer. Noticeable difference with butt dyno too

had 18 before and now 22. Discovered on both bikes that stock clutch plates stick together with some oils. Maybe oil brand change will help. On 18 felt it more than on 22. On 22 never had problems starting bike after stall. 18 didn't like start when not warm enough. Sometimes help short full throttle while starting
