Spring rates and valve stacks are different but it will bolt on.

Someone has the service manual with the connecting rod/crankshaft tolerance?

Thank you

Connecting rod big end radial clearance service limit is 0.05mm (0.002 in).  Side clearance is 0.75mm (0.030 in).

So while I’m in rehab after my ACL op going to give the bike some TLC. Thinking either a Yosh exhaust or go powerflow and possibly some XTRIG or other triple clamps and mounts. Wondering which you guys would recommend? Already had the suspension sorted so purely a bit of tinkering.

If you have your suspension set up good I wouldn’t do the 24mm offset clamps. I would do a twisted development or XPR tuned vortex and some engine hangers. I have FCP and they seem to work good. Bike feels or more planted and predictable in the front end.    Check out the mx locker app.  You can find good used parts for good deals. I’ve bought lots of parts there and been happy with them.

yes, one more vote for 24mm Xtrigs. Some time ago they didn't have 24mm for 22nd year, but you can buy 2018 year triple and buy mudguard and front numberplate from 2018. I have such setup. This is best upgrade for me. As well offset footpegs. I vote for HGS exhaust

Only issue with that for me is I’m in the UK, so not sure if those guys ship across the ditch or not. I’m actually pretty happy with the suspension so the clamps are more a luxury which I guess answers my own question a bit!..

Figured Id update you guys. Just ripped everything down to do a top end/Cam chain at 50 Hours. Vet Am for reference. Everything looked brand new, barely any wear on piston/cylinder. I probably could have gone awhile longer, all valves within spec too. Plan is to keep this one for awhile longer maybe till 2026 when the new one comes out. Have been tempted lately to scoop up a 125 thoughLaughing

interested in the offset footpegs.  What offset did you go for?  Did you feel handling benefits versus stock or just looking for roomier ergo’s?

Same question.    Took a leap of faith and ordered Raptor -5mm down-10mmback for my 6 ft frame.   Measured against my sons yz125 that you can shift like a ballerina in Size 10 Tech10s and this is about how far off it was compared to that.  Surprised they make this and the Yamaha for 3rd graders to shift. Flame on

Hi. I have a brand new 2022 CRF250R I’m getting ready to sell. Started a handful of times not been ridden. I have a non motorcycle back injury. Surgery scheduled for June 2nd, no riding for myself in 2022. Looking for standard retail price $8099.00. Extras not included with bike all new still in factory boxes- X-Trig triple clamps red, FCP motomounts, RK chain, complete rear OEM (CRF450R rim (2.15) fits 250. Proper rim size to go with a 110/90/19 tire size. Complete titanium Akrapovic exhaust. I live in CT. The purchaser will save on sales tax , destination fee and setup fee.
Any chance you’ll sell the rear wheel alone?

I know this is a old post but question if running a 2.15 wheel/hub from a 450 onto a 22 and up 250 what wheel spacers need to be run? The ones from a 450 or do the stock 250s work?

Stock ones work. All the part numbers are the same, except for the 2.15 rim. You can order the whole wheel assembly as well.

I could get footpegs only half inch backwards. on my local track there is one I call curved straight 4th or 5th if groomed. Not deep but sand and not very smooth. There I felt difference bike is more stable with offset pegs (then was with stock triples). I am 181cm and bike triangle felt good for me with stock pegs. Read somewhere Gajser has 1cm backwards as well Sexton. So, wanted to test

Anyone else notice a higher pitched rattle on the stand after you let off the throttle? Was changing my oil today, I feel like I’ve heard it since I got this bike, but wanted to know if anyone else has noticed it. It’s almost like the clutch perch or something is loose, but sounds like it comes from the front of the engine.

Thanks. It’s sort of subtle. Sounds almost like the chain or clutch perch rattles right as the RPM go to zero. I vaguely recall noticing it when I first got on Hondas, but I had noise canceling headphones on when I changed my oil today and it really popped and now I can’t not notice it ha!

Just double checked. Mine sounds the exact same. I remember thinking something was wrong when I got it coming off my Yamaha but I’ve gotten used to it.

Ha! Thanks so much dude. Yeah I remember coming of Yamahas and not hearing the intake, but hearing that noise right off throttle. Thanks again for confirming, much appreciated dude.

Thanks for confirming too! Any idea what it is? Sounds like just the exhaust note / the exhaust shaking a bit? But I have heard it with stock and the aftermarket.

Mine sounds exactly like that I figured it was my exhaust……which I am so irritated it is dented from my boots.   Any used slip ons around?   I swore I wouldn’t spend money on exhausts but it’s so ugly it bothers me😁

Yeah mine does that too, 2023 on a standard exhaust. I've never thought twice about it tbh!

Has anyone tried the dual injector on this bike? If so, thoughts?
