I’m old too……with flashes of brilliance! I can tell you that when I dialed in the suspension and moved the pegs back it felt good. The clamps made it fantastic….as a matter of fact the last time I rode the bike I had that with fresh rubber (a 110 tire) and the bike was fantastic. I beleive it closes the...

Interested to see if anyone is running the ride 23.5s from their old bike on the 25. I too am contemplating a 25/26. Damn 22 had everything on it I’m glad most things transfer over.

Sure. Yamaha: Hands down win for suspension, it takes everything and is so easy to dial in. Yamaha power hits harder, I know people say not as good as prior gen but I didnt really notice this after having a 19, there is a weird spot in power between 2nd and 3rd but with the Yamaha I could use 2nd for a good deal of stuff, where in the honda I'm always searching for 3rd sometimes to have enough. The new blue chassis is a huge improvement from prior gen, its super slim and the rider cockpit is less "buick"...

I like your style…..I emailed Keefer he says even with the last generation with the Ride clamps and improvements I made the nod still goes to the 25 with the chassis improvements. Friggin dirt bikes.

Mine sounds exactly like that I figured it was my exhaust……which I am so irritated it is dented from my boots. Any used slip ons around? I swore I wouldn’t spend money on exhausts but it’s so ugly it bothers me😁

Same question. Took a leap of faith and ordered Raptor -5mm down-10mmback for my 6 ft frame. Measured against my sons yz125 that you can shift like a ballerina in Size 10 Tech10s and this is about how far off it was compared to that. Surprised they make this and the Yamaha for 3rd graders to shift. Flame on

I’m wondering if it’s longer lever needed. Fine sitting….its not terrible. Emailed Keefer way back when he didn’t have a problem with it same size. Maybe it’s the old ankles. Gaining on you I will be 46😉

Hey Guys. 22 crf250. Size 10 AStarsTech10 is it me or are the new bikes different than they used to be. I used to be able to shift effortlessly Standing but this shifter to peg seems a little tight just like the yzf. Afe you guys running raptors or offset shift tips? I hate to change this bike from stock...

So. Ow we have to figure out where exactly on the seat to sit ….that’s where I feel you struggle the most. I move my junk a half inch and it’s off again.

Never struggled so much setting sag in a bike I use the slacker tool and try to do the Ping method and I’m all over. I figure get it close and adjust but I’d love to hear the definitive way thanks.

The yzf feels a little cramped. The Honda is just right. Unless you wait for 24 when the Yamaha closes the gap like the 450 did.

I owned a 21 yzf250. 6’ 175lb. Decent speed. I did raptor pegs (-7mm down) and taller seat. The yzf was great and I got it feeling really good. It’s stable. Like stated above that bike is as stable as they come. It’s not as nimble as a Honda-it doesn’t feel like a 125 like the Honda does . I...
