Where are folks buying clutches for the stock clutch basket/hub/pressure plate for these bikes?
The only thing I can find are OEM friction and steel plates. It's surprising to me there is no aftermarket.
Self-reply.
The outer 4 plates, part# 22203-K95-A20, are listed as "Not Shipping"
change to the bike or new bike for 2024 ? any info ?

Every bike I have owned vibrates a good amount. My honda feels like every other 4 stroke I've owned.
Not sure if this info helps anyone but I run the Keefer suspension setting from his website(stock suspension still). Aj Catanzaro rode my bike last weekend at the track and said it felt pretty good for stock suspension.
Anyone run a 110-90-19 with the stock rim? How’s it work?
I’m running the 110/90/19 Dunlop MX33 without issue. I’d recommend everyone run the 110 over the 100. No negative effects that I’ve noticed.

Nice, what are the positives, I assume just better read end traction?
Better grip, corners slightly better and almost no power los.
Corners better? How so? I’d think a wider tire would make leaning more difficult, but I guess a wider contact patch helps once you’re actually leaned over.
Increased traction and forward drive, wider tire allows the rear end to hold up higher in loamy/sandy soil and not sink down as much on a freshly prepped track, taller tire helps with square edge harshness, the 110 tire seems to stay fresh longer and is more durable, none of the other OEM’s use the 100 width tire and the pro teams run them too. Seems like the logical choice to use the 110 width... I did go up 1 tooth on the rear sprocket to counteract the larger diameter that comes with the 110.
Wanted to throw a little bit of an update.. Found a good deal on a vortex mapped by XPR. Only have one ride on it so far and I am pretty impressed. Power delivery is much smoother but still comes on strong, allowing me to stay in 3rd longer and even lug fourth(also due to the gearing change per Keefer recommendations). Bike is otherwise stock, looking forward to putting more time on it. Still debating on getting an exhaust and possibly a powerflow kit if I plan on keeping it long-term.
Anyone order the 2.15 rim from the 450 and throw it on there? It looks like all the other parts are exactly the same.
I have. Makes the 110 tire spread out and plant better. Noticeable traction and great lean angle grip going into corners.
Any decent aftermarket stiffer clutch springs? In the past I always ran the Pro-Circuit clutch springs but they don't list them for the 22+ model.
Nice. You only replaced the rim, nothing else?
could you throw in the springs from the 450?
Pit Row
I bought an aftermarket wheel set with a 2.15 rear wheel. I put a sand tire on the stock wheels.
Does anyone with pipe ecu good fuel or more, have a dyno graph or numbers?
Anyone looking for a good 30w to run, this is so good. Put 4 hard hours on a sand track, almost 90 degrees out, shifting was awesome and smooth and it came out with very little break down. I figured it would be shot but it was still green and pretty clean looking. This is what ML said they ran in their bikes.
I’m sure Chad at XPR would tell you, might share the graphs.
Looks like Honda has re-released the 2022 model for 2024.
Yeah I don’t think we will get any updates until the 2026. At least we will get a preview of what they are with the 2025 450.
I love Motul stuff, but what’s the deal with it being 5w30 over the book 10w30? Any negative effects from that or potential ones?
Genuinely no clue what the differences in oils might be.
The first number is the viscosity at start up. You want it low so it coats everything during start up while the engine is cold. So if the manual says 10w##, you want it 10 tops. 5 just means it’s thinner when it’s cold, so technically better for start up. The second number is operating viscosity. This needs to match exactly with the manual. At least that’s my understanding, and my local tuner confirmed this.
They make a 10w40 in this oil, which some people run in the summer, but as I said above, the 5w30 did not appear to break down much at all, on a deep sand track, at 90 degrees, in 4 hours. And I am not afraid of the rev limiter.
Thanks for the explanation, that makes perfect sense. I’m running Maxima in mine at the minute but I’ve run Motul in every other bike I’ve had and it’s been excellent. Good to know I have an option.
Anyone want to buy the stock rear wheel? I have 31 hours on it, no dents, still in decent shape. Comes with the stock Pirelli, 1 ride on it. Break rotor and sprocket not included.
Anyone one here have an exhaust they want to get rid of? Either slip-on or full? figured id ask on here before buying new.
Still got a fresh 22 for sale also …10 hrs twin air lowering and I invested 3GS to get the suspension valved and everything sent to Japan for Kashima coatings. I don’t ride anymore I can’t let it sit.
