Hey Guys.
22 crf250. Size 10 AStarsTech10
is it me or are the new bikes different than they used to be. I used to be able to shift effortlessly Standing but this shifter to peg seems a little tight just like the yzf.
Afe you guys running raptors or offset shift tips?
I hate to change this bike from stock since it’s a Honda and it feels almost perfect but it’s this one thing that I can’t seem to jive with.
thanks!!
i’ve always moved the shifter up one spline on my kawis to get it up out of the way and for my boot toe to fit under it.
Just mark the stock position with a sharpie, remove shifter and re orient it to the next spline up.
Maybe it interferes with the stator cover on the Hondas but worth a shot.
I agree and have been meaning to find a solution but haven't.
I just ride practice days and am 53 yrs old so it hasn't been a priority but I would enjoy it much more if it was "fixed".
I’m wondering if it’s longer lever needed. Fine sitting….its not terrible. Emailed Keefer way back when he didn’t have a problem with it same size. Maybe it’s the old ankles. Gaining on you I will be 46😉
here are options from Raptor titanium. I’ve used them before - yeah you have to skip a mortgage payment first

It is definitely close to the peg. I ordered a Hammerhead shift lever with +15mm offset tip and it's perfect for my size 12 boots!
Yeah seems like bikes are are made for size 8’s feet. I have Hammerhead shift levers with extended tips, both my Honda and Beta. Dropped my pegs on my both too. Changed brake levers to billet which seems to be a tick longer also.
I measured against my sons yz125 it is about 1/4” shorter from center of peg.
at 6’ tall I’m gonna put some raptor 10mm backs on. Just thing to decide if I want 5mm lower
