My pet peeve is bikes with high-end aftermarket parts but the guy hasn't washed it in ages, tires are roasted, muffler packing stayed home and everything is bent. Aftermarket triple clamps but bars are bent to hell. Cerekote suspension but he hasn't checked the air pressure, sag or changed the oil since new. A fully built motor and air filter still dirty from a race 2 months ago. Pains me when people don't take care of their stuff.

Here's my issue with most shootouts. At the end of the video/article they say, " At the end of the day, these are just our opinions and if could be different for you, so go ride them all and see." Welp, that sentence kind of just throws the whole thing out the window. Because the ratings are so subjective based on the 5 or so guys that ride the bike, we don't know anything other than some opinions. What I would love to see and what would completely differentiate this test from any other is simple. Lap times. Get 2...

I think its a disservice to the guys that ARE racing and to the guy that will win the title! I for one, am DAMN thankful that I have my health and I am able to travel, damn thankful that I have the disposable income to be able to afford to travel half way across the country for such an event and DAMN respectful of the talent, tenacity and determination it takes to pursue the dream of being an AMA pro and make the mains at a National event! I am sad for Eli and bummed that he will not...
