Another xenophobic, hubris laden Don M post. WSX is the only legitimate supercross world championship. This is because the FIM, which represents 170 or so affiliate countries, and is a branch of the United Nations allocates this honour (for a fee, if course). The United Nations, headquartered in New York, and established with US (and Australian) leadership at the end of WW2 was created explicitly for international oversight roles like this.

You forget one difference and for Americans it’s always a race at home soil. No wonder the big names Carmichael McGrath windham steward have a good relationship everywhere while a foreigner need to adapt always. Like you said some places they drive left some right there are allot of different cultures where they don’t speak American only and i know allot of big names would love a race at home soil.

Bashing someone who has a different and truthful angle on moto topics is pretty lame. Cooksey is keeping things real and some can't seem to handle that which is just hilarious. The abuse and slander & baseless fake claims will only embolden him and i hope his followers and popularity greatly prospers for it. The new raw breed of tubers like him & hopper don't follow any script and that is really what the public want unless you are someone else's little bitch.

Both Cooksey and Hopper have super entertaining content. As for Everyone who talks shit about them (things in this thread have been repeated 1000 times by the same couple of guys), the only content I see from you people is on this forum, and consistently your content fucking sucks

Calling yourself world champion while you race US only that’s funny in my opinion you’re a national champion don’t care how big your country is or what nationality competes in it. Then you are a Italian winning a sx or mx title. Nonetheless the level is world class. When you race in one country only then you don’t race world wide. So my opinion the WSX is a real world championship just doesn’t have enough world class riders but who knows what will happen in the future. I think it’s cool 😎

Global riders like, say, Jett and Hunter Lawrence, Kenye, Jo, Marvin etc? Not WSX in 2023, but the first two riders at least are racing Supercross in Perronard's Paris- 'Bercy' SX this year. The 40 year success of Bercy shows clearly that there is a market for a softer SX product than AMA/Feld.

I want WSX to succeed. Clearly AMA SX has been taking advantage of the talent for a long time. I appreciate what Prater and co do - to put on the show and all - but the fact that the talent is disposable does not sit well with me. There has been talk of a riders union for years - but no one has the $$ or balls to make it happen - and Feld have tried to close it down at all costs. Even halfway measures like Trey Canard trying to advise on track changes for safety have been...

Why? Takes the time to post worst idea ever, with nothing to back up why it’s the worst idea. Gotta love ignorant statements. Smh

You know what they say about starting a new business, it takes at least 5 years before your start seeing a return or progress. As much as I love the American nationals and Supercross, I could sacrifice both of those series and share with the world, as long as both become one series(SXGP and MXGP) and America gets at least 4 rounds each. This would definitely resolve who’s the best in the world. lol. I know, I’m dreaming and wishful thinking.

I didn’t take the picture. Kevin came out to a local track in Louisiana called Wildwood Mx for a benefit ride. Safe to say he still has it.

So I take it you never dabbled in the RC game ? Honestly $600 is very reasonable for these. I made the mistake of getting into racing RC cars with Tanner. I started with a 2WD truck (all electric), then a 4x4 truck, then a 2WD buggy and then a 4x4 buggy… all Kyosho products. I ended up with about $10K into them all with extra batteries, multi chargers, tools, etc. it’s definitely addicting once you get the hang of it ! We started going to all the different RC tracks around California. Tanner was racing the Expert class and...

America is the only country that has a major SX series, if anything, it will open up supercross to more riders and deepen the tallent pool over the term. The same people that want WSX to fail are the same ones that don't want to see riders like Jett, Hunter, Dylan and other foreign riders to succeed.

I think some think DC is going to give them lifetime VIP passes for tearing down the series…I believe the series can do a lot of things to improve the quality of product they put out, but don’t understand the ney sayers. Isn’t more opportunities for racers to make a living and showcase their skills a good thing? Most of the guys racing this series would make zero impact on the outdoor series

That has to be the dumbest reason to dislike something I've heard in a while. Do you get mad at every donut shop that says "world's best donuts?" It's marketing bro. Lighten up.
