Pretty cool RedBull saw the marketing value in Carson's unconventional approach to the sport. The kid is extremely talented and has a great imagination - I'm sure RedBull and Carson will come up with some really cool content.

That guy deserves it. Watching a supercross main event doesn't get me half as excited to go ride as watching a 10 second instagram clip of CB rippping a random roached out bike around his back yard.

TLD Rockfight CE Flex is my jam. Had the old A1 and one of the newer Fox ones... This one has been my favorite as far as fit and having a good balance between being minimalist and providing adequate protection.

I go by that logic as well. Not that some squid like me having their logos on board helps them, but I always liked the principle of repping and supporting good companies. Options are gonna be non-existent or at least seriously limited for most of us if we can only run logos / graphics from sponsors etc.

Experiences will varie, here is mine 60yr old slow guy, no acl right knee, not a candidate for acl replacement dur to advanced arthritis. I was wearing pads for a long time, but tired of sitting for months after tweaking my knee while riding. Got custom CTIs, definitely reduced my knee pain after riding, a hard case here and there with no ill effects, before i would be on the couch for a while. Worth it for me. Good luck!

I’m not sure if this is any sort of indication that they work well, but I’ve had two friends crash in pods with both resulting in the main frame of one brace snapping. Nothing torn. I also dabbed my foot so hard that when I took my boot off 2 minutes later, my big toe nail was solid purple. My knee swelled up and I was on crutches for a week or so, but went back to normal shortly after. I was also wearing pods. I have no idea if the braces are better or worse than anything else

I'd hazard a guess that 99% of the people commenting in this thread don't care what other people run, and would still befriend or happily help a fellow rider out despite them running any of these "dorky" parts. It's all just tongue in cheek, and we're all guilty of doing dorky stuff at some point.
