From what I understand is that Dazzie had a plan when he saw the potential in his kid. He sold his farm (which really wasn't a big farm with loads of equipment) to go to Europe after he secured a ride for Hunter. The sponsor / ride never worked out as planned and they weren't getting everything that thought they'd get from the sponsor. It turned from bad to shit real quick. That is where they ended up having to tighten their belts and live cheap...tuna and bagets etc in order to keep the dream alive. Hunter said that that...

There was nothing veiled about it, repeated hits to the head cause CTE and a drastically reduced quality of life for athletes and their families.

Deegan said the bike was losing power for a lap or two. In that case it seems more likely that the cam chain adjuster, or sprocket attachment was dicey and he was getting exhaust valve to piston contact that became terminal. If the cam chain broke it would stop running instantly.

Reality is motocross will never be prime time for a simple reason: Relatability. How many boys/girls grew up playing baseball, playing football, or drive a car versus riding a motorcycle? No one watches it because, unlike Xgames with quick highlights, its too long and rather boring sometimes to watch. and Unlike Nascar or baseball, no one can relate to moto because no one rides. No one cares that these athletes are top tier versus any other athlete in the world, or that theyre navigating insane courses at unbelievable speeds. No one gets its, no one understands it. and what few...

I just wish they would change the camera angles. Watch a video from Tommy tenders or any of the independent people putting out videos and it looks so much faster and bigger. Kid in WI puts out videos of the local races that put the national broadcast to shame. I understand they can’t do it for the entire moto but could highlight sections of the track with quality camera angles

That comparison is inevitable and understandable. Reed was obviously great at supercross, and, in my opinion, a highly underrated motocross rider. As always making comparisons between eras is difficult. Jet is certainly in a position to become an all time great, perhaps nearly the greatest , and probably eclipse Reed’s records. Reed is established as one of the all time greats, but he also went head to head with the greatest in history and gave him all he could handle in supercross.

Um. One step closer to being discussed in the same sentence as Reed? Lol!!! I posted this in the bench racing thread, but it belongs here. It’s mind blowing to think that if Jett wins out he will have literally in his first attempt tie Chad Reed’s all time outdoor national records of 10 wins and 1 championship. In his first try. Jett will actually beat Chad’s 10 wins by 11 and tie him with 1 championship - ON HIS FIRST TRY. The only sentence Chad Reed shares with Jett is the sentence composed of “when will Jett demote Chad...

"His parents and team should sit him down and talk to him about what it means to be professional. " Yeah, but isn't Brian the reason his kid is kinda arrogant and disrespectful? And what the eff is a "mulisha", anyway?! Was he trying to drive home the point that he's poorly educated, while trying to sound tough? It's lame as sh!t. Take an English class. And, again, chanting your country at a foreign rider is completely disrespectful, even at MXON. You aren't your country. You should try to be a respectful, kind, decent human being, capable of appreciating the...

I'm a big Haiden fan, and did not like Brian at all during his FMX career. Things Haiden has been saying, I've been pushing it off as him being young. Every week he's saying and doing dumber things and it's disappointing. It really does seem like Brian is coaching him on what to say and act, and they're all the wrong damn things. Losing me more and more as a fan every week.

Funny I watched Wharton and Baggett both help push bikes back at Freestone in 2010. Deegan is a punk regardless and everyone has seen it in his videos. Sounds like he got a taste of humble pie yesterday. Hopefully he learns from it moves on.

Bro stop making excuses Any professional racer who comes by a competitors pit area and points and laughs at the team, bike, whatever, for ANY reason, is a fucking child and that kind of behavior is embarrassing

Seems to me like Haiden can’t formulate his own thought and just regurgitates what he’s heard Brian or someone else say. It’s more apparent in interviews with serious questions, he seems to struggle to answer and uses a lot of “hunh hunh” laughs as filler. It’s like instead of just answering, he’s searching for the answer Brian would want him to give. I really hope to see Haiden come into his own and be his own person, but for now he comes across as trying to be the “character” Brian wants him to be as opposed to just being real...

Is the title statement layered or something like a double entendre? Is Hunter saying that Deegan (and the field I guess but let’s be honest it’s mostly directed at Deegan) isn’t applying pressure like he may think he is, while also calling him a soy boy that had his opportunities handed to him? No doubt Deegan has put in the work but would he be where he’s at right now if his dad wasn’t who he is and didn’t pick up a camera and start filming his kid from a young age to build a following? Is Hunter just a...
